I heard “situationship” and threw my hands up. Maybe because im old but it’s either you’re openly dating or dating exclusively. The line is pretty clear.
I'm with Preach it depends what kind of relationship you have with your mother, but if your moment off pain you can go to the person that loves you the most then who do you go? It's no shame.
To me, that's a big difference. An 8 year relationship that is guaranteed to involve your family, where your family more than likely had a relationship with your significant other. Calling your mom in a situation like that, so you both can essentially mourn the loss of a significant person that played a role in both of your lives.
I'm so happy that my son feels I am a safe haven that he can come to at any hour just to talk. He doesn't do it that often, but when he does, I know he needs it, and I don't care, I drop everything! Too many men take their lives because they don't have an outlet for their innermost thoughts fears and emotions. When he meets the right person hopefully; they will listen to each other. More men speak to.their mothers than you would imagine.
Imagine saying “ I didn’t know we were in a relationship so I cheated on you” . Like you’ve been dating for months doesn’t that even correlate you are in a way in a relationship and exclusive to each other. Her saying she didn’t know they were exclusive and didn’t know how exclusive even means and cheated with his friends she’s a dead beat cheater
@@minecraftvvg4250 and also, she should’ve been mature and communicated what the status is instead of assuming but didn’t and used that to her advantage. I think communication is what was needed. Did he communicate they were exclusive. Anybody is free to date whomever until they both agree to be exclusive.mens issue they don't want to clarify anything they want women to assume we know. They being said she could have said something too
Nah. Bad advice. Its not her. It's him... she wants a man and he is just a good looking boy. It's going to keep happening to him till he learns to be the bad boy all girls want OR become a red pill idiot with no partners.
Have you people forgotten he just admitted that the first time they were together, he took her for GRANTED. That was the big mistake he did, Because as a woman, emotionally she was done and just going through the motion with him.
I've been that guy; it took a bit to realize because she was so smooth with it, but after seeing some shady things pop up slowly, I got TF outta there.
Nothing wrong with wanting to talk to your mom during a breakup, and nothing wrong with crying about a breakup. I’ve never called my mom about a breakup, but it doesn’t make him any less a man.
Yes that felt weird. Maybe black people think that way? But I would assume only in the US because in Brazil your mom is your best friend when it comes to that. The relationship is very close similar to Italian moms. Usually if someone is going to see me cry it was my mom not my dad.
From what I’ve seen; it’s more appropriate for females to cry to their parents than it is for Males from a certain age. I can see a boy crying to his parents but if you do it as a Men then it is frowned upon for a good reason. Because as a Men you have to be a pillar in society and for your family, you have to be strong. And crying is seen as weakness.

Exactly, Aba is just childish here. He acts like a red pill, these male codes are just ridiculous 9 out of 10 times. He is a human being and needs support when being sad, offcourse the person who gave birth to you, can be your pillar. If anything it makes sense.

All these situationships, netflix and chill friends, unset boundaries, unlabeled relationships are a great way to set ourselves for failure. Ive rarely/ never saw someone gaining something positive from that kinda relationship.

He were not obligated to go through it. Maybe while his crying on his momma lap this was her advice. Go on son and cry like a baby in front of that mid chick

If a girl says, “oh this guy reached out to me, but I don’t like him, so you don’t have to worry.” That’s the guy you should *_DEFINITELY_* worry about. If a girl wasn’t interested in some guy hitting her up and hitting on her, she wouldn’t even pay him the time of day. There would be no difference between that guy and a lamp for her, but if she feels the need to tell you not to worry about the guy, it’s because she feels guilty about liking the guy.
Exactly that’s when you ask questions..an if you feel in your heart she’s not being genuine and or that you need to check her phone for proof..your better off just ghosting her. She is not for you. She not worth it leave her to the streets where she came from.
It’s called Duping delight, or dupers delight, look it up. I personally think it’s a trait psychotic people have where when they find out they’ve deceived you,,the spirit behind the deception can do nothing but smile at watching the victim become hurt. The Joker has an overly exaggerated version of this going on. They get off on causing deception and harm. A person can have a perfectly good relationship and sex life and when they cheat the high of getting caught will have them getting off double time. It’s all related.

Everyone’s touching on it but I want to say my experience as well. I grew up with a single mother after dealing with a very abusive father. I’m closer to my mom than anyone else in the world, and that’s never changed. She’s done so much for me and I can’t be thankful enough for the sacrifices she’s made for me. I’ve cried to her so many times when I needed someone. And that’s okay.
everything about him changed after that phone switch, whatever she was trying to do didnt work. Shes not your friend she uses him when she get bored or lonely
She was trying to get him riled up to keep him lower than her "Oh I *let* you have me, I choose to stay around when I could be jumping one of your loser friends anytime I want, you should be grateful, they are teehee✌". He didn't simp and so her control over him fell apart.
It could be also some photos her body, you know this parts that this guy can’t touch from years because “she wasn’t ready and don’t want hurry” and was sending someone met week ago. She has energy this type of girl.
You can’t understand a son going to his mother, feeling vulnerable and needing someone to talk to and trusting her with those emotions? That says more about you and your mother’s relationship than it does about him. Have I ever cried to my mother about a relationship? No…but there’s nothing wrong with it.
Maybe Aba just doesn't have that type of relationship with his own mother so he's projecting a bit. I don't think it's very fair of him to make it seem weird though. If a man is going to cry and be vulnerable you would think his mother would be the best place to go because your mum loves you unconditionally and wants the best for you. I have a daughter and a son, i would hope in the future both would come to me when they are upset and need comforting.

Friends with benefits is completely different tho. I'm referring to situationship as actually having entire effortful relationships on the side like emotions are just a commodity to them.
On the topic of crying to your mom after a breakup. 3 things to consider: 1) he was the one hooked and admitted that hadn’t been able to forget about it. 2) he didn’t end it or wanted it to end. Going back to the same person over and over also kind of makes it qualify as a long relationship. 3) maybe Abba and Preach don’t have personal experience with reasons #1 and #2. I don’t either. At least not at the same time. It’s pretty fucking weird to me as well, and I consider myself to be a sensitive crying b!tch, who is pretty close to his family. But to me specifically is not about “not being able to open up” or “wanting to look manly” or whatever. It’s just that those times when you break down and cry are moments of deep reflection and I need to be alone in them. I don’t need understanding, compassion, or validation when I’m at my lowest. I need that after, or whatever it is I just went through, I won’t learn as effectively from it. I need those in case I’m not strong enough to pick up the pieces myself.
@@crystalrenner7608 Yeah keep telling men that, see what happens. We have emotions, too and if it's deep to us it's deep to us. If you're gonna say we're too soft for expressing this pain you better not be one of them "men need to express their emotions more and not be robots" people.

Bro, what the fuck is "situationship". Your either in a relationship or your not. You could have an open relationship but by this guys reaction, that's clearly not the case. He communicated his feelings clearly enough just by his body language that he was in his mind in a committed relationship. She wanted to have fun and fuck around. Sadly, with either side of the coin, this ain't nothin new, just another case of "belonging to the streets".
It’s like everything “created” by people without moral code or self respect. Y You know since centuries some “job” was called wh..re but suddenly they call herself as a s.ex workers/creators.
A situationship is a relationship for two people who refuse to commit to each other. Or, where one refuses to commit and the other refuses to let the other go. This video was the second scenario. He believed that they were for the most part in a monogamous relationship, without defined commitment, but the expectation was that neither of them were still out playing the field. Seems like she was misleading him to string him along, knowing that she was never going to actually commit to him. It seems like she just didn’t want to be alone, so keeping him around meant that if whatever she was actually seeking didn’t work out, she would always have him as a fallback and wouldn’t ever have to actually be “single”.
I didnt talk to my mom till later about my most recent breakup. Not because I relied on her, but because she has experience being cheated on. It doesn't mean I am less of a man

Go cry about it- I hope her other relationships fall apart if she's going to be a manipulative scumbag like this without any shred of guilt.
4:40 This is the first time in a while I've full disagreed with Aba. My mum was the only person that I could cry in front of without being ashamed for the first 24 years of my life, to the point that it took her passing away to make me realise that it's okay to cry in front of other people occasionally. That probably comes from the fact that I was bullied very heavily until I was 16 and for most of my childhood my mum was the only person I could turn to for any kind of emotional support as my Dad has always been stoic to a fault. Like you said though, everyone has different relationships with their mum's.
Agree 👍 IF men really are being shamed for crying, then it makes perfect sense to go to the person who won't shame you. Everyone in that situation is looking for love, understanding & empathy. He did the right thing going to his mother.
Holy crap man I feel so bad for this dude. I’ve been there and I suspect a lot of guys have. To feel like you know somebody and then realize it’s all wrong, that hurts more than anything.
I don’t think he went crying to his mom. Yes, he called her. But it could be interpreted that at that time he just really needed to her the voice of someone who he knew without a doubt truly loved him/cared about him. It also sounded like his mom picked up that something was wrong and asked him how he was doing.. which broke open the flood gates.
At 8:30 right now and holy shit. You can see exactly the moment he read the message, his sadness and heartbreak when he originally declined to ask a question and then his anger and “you know what fuck that” when he changed his mind. Bro lost all feelings for her in that moment. Just imagine the messages she deleted Finished video: she’s grimy as all hell. She knew she was leading him on and she definitely tried to downplay her actions. I hope he moves on from her and finds someone much better, I hurt a lil bit for him when I saw that. More and more I am starting to realize that asking a woman to see her phone is one of the easiest ways to draw out a whole bunch of shifty behavior and red flags.....
Asking anyone to see their phone is the biggest way to see some shit you don’t want to. Why you making it a woman thing? My ex had a whole secret life when I checked his phone. People suck in general
@@Yoshiecatattck Because women tend to get more attention in general. People cheat regardless of gender, but men typically don't have many "options" in terms of dating. That's why most men tend jump the gun and assume that a relationship might be exclusive than it actually is (and therefore also act more loyal to their partner), while women generally prefer to go into situationships and keep their options open. The guys who are serial cheaters are typically those who are more desirable by the opposite sex. If the tables were turned in terms of how both genders experience relationships, I'm sure that men would show similar behavior, but that isn't the case. Many women entertain guys who message them for self-affirmation/validation, some even while being in relationships.

Calling your mom in a situation like that, so you both can essentially mourn the loss of a significant person that played a role in both of your lives.

the whole poking fun at the calling your mom thing was off to me. almost implying that being close to your mom was somehow emasculating. i dont really understand what that had to do with being a guy, as aposed to it being a child expressing themselves to their parental figure.
Asians are close to their mom especially if you're born there
I'm close to my mom as well. When I lost my home and my car to my ex, I called the only person I knew I could show my heart to and express all the complicated emotions I was going through without telling me to man the fuck up or tear my ex down for any number of reasons to try to make me feel better. I didn't need answers, I needed to feel secure and loved, and my mom the only woman in my life who's let me cry without looking at me differently after. When you look at your phone right now and tell yourself "if shit hit the fan right now, who could I call to help me realize things will be okay?". I'm a Veteran, and my first instinct isn't to call another struggling traumatized Marine going through their own shit, it's to call my mom. She'll always answer, and she's never sugar coated and coddled me, but she'll always love me and hear me out when I'm screaming so loud people can't hear what I'm trying to say.
sometimes the only one who wont judge you is your mother or father and if you want to unburden yourself and be vulnerable its safer ...cause even your friends throw shit back in your face....
because thats what women do. no men does that shit. daughters go cry to their mothers about men, men dont go cry like little bitches to their mom about a woman. dude is 30000% feminine and clearly has been raised by his mom and took everything after her. overly sensitive, dude literally almost starts crying and put his head down refusing to speak like a child. hes pathetic. this shit is cringe to watch, shes looking at him with 0 respect, 0 empathy u can clearly see in her eyes shes toying with him cuz hes a coward with no self respect or any courage.

There would be no difference between that guy and a lamp for her, but if she feels the need to tell you not to worry about the guy, it’s because she feels guilty about liking the guy.

There is no such thing as a situationship, you’re just fuck buddies but some people don’t like how the latter term makes them feel.
On the topic of crying to your mom after a breakup. 3 things to consider:
1) he was the one hooked and admitted that hadn’t been able to forget about it.
