I love the 101 brush. It's perfect. I remember the foundation that you are using it. Perhaps they've reformulated it, and re-released it to QVC first? I think the foundation looks really nice on you. Lilac/purple is definitely your shade. Such a pretty sweater. You are dewy, but not overly so. You have me totally hooked on the Elta Md tinted sunscreen. I'm actually on an auto-delivery plan! I've definitely seen you in nicer foundations. I don't remember liking this when it first came out. I've hear hints that Wayne Goss is working on a foundation!!! That I would be excited to try! ❤❤❤
I have been using the Sun Bum tinted SPF and really like it , had no issues this summer through the heat and it keeps my skin feeling hydrated . Was -10 this am here in Falkland BC Canada .

What do you think about me doing some videos/reviews on products for nurses or healthcare professionals who are required to wear masks all day? Ways to accentuate their eyes and maybe so ways to keep face makeup from being removed too much during the day and ways to help your face recover after wearing those tight n95 masks that scrunch your face up and accentuate all your undereye wrinkles. For me personally I need to start feeling better about myself from the inside out. 2020 has been a rough year and damaged my self esteem tremendously. I could write a book. Anywho what do you think about me doing a wear test on products throughout the day at work???

I think is a decent foundation for being a luminous finish one. I like they sent you more shades so you could pick the best shade for you. Is it me or it looks like it oxidized by the end of the day .. ( maybe is because of different lightning) .Love to see you Lisa ! Warm hugs 💞.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is one of my faves. It's kind of hard to buy foundation right now with not being able to swatch in stores. I recently bought Estee Lauder Futurist in a shade that is a little too light but i can make it work. Good review on product.
Hi Lisa! I had to get this since I wore the powder for years in the past. I wore it today for the first time and really liked it. My skin type is now more dry as I’ve aged. :) I used a Stans Out beauty sponge (slightly damp) to apply on top of the Tatcha spf. No powder and I was shocked how great my skin looked/and pretty poreless. I’ve had it on for 8 hrs now but my nose looks dry....hmmm. I’ll have to give it another wear as well! :)
That's iteresting. The only reviews I've seen so far, and they were slightly negative, were people using a brush, so maybe the answer is to use a sponge instead☺

I would only powder your Tzone and perimeter on you. The glow is very beautiful on you! Give it a try. Maybe ever so slightly powder your pores before the foundation
Thanks Lisa. I have super dry skin and stay away from anything mineral, including sunscreen. I use a chemical sunscreen from France. They are like 30 years ahead of the U.S. I don't do blush or contour, my skin is super pale with a lot of redness. I use foundation like a concealer to cover these red bits. You are beautiful!

I have to agree with you Lisa, I’ve seen you wearing a lot nicer foundations, this one did look a little bit too luminous on your skin and I don’t think it would work in our climate here being that I think it’s much like Texas climate, Loved your eye look today, I also use that BKBeauty brush for my concealer and it works so well to apply it, I’ve always had trouble with concealer settling into creepy skin around my eyes but using your brush has stopped that, I curious to try the Huda stick foundation (I think that’s the one) that Angie has been loving for more mature skin like me Lol 😂 I’ve got the Hourglass stick foundation that I like very much, Another Great Review Friend, Hope Your All ready for the Holidays, it’s going to be a very quiet one here this year, not much really to celebrate with the year we’ve had. When Yu first put the foundation on, your skin looked flawless. Right now and exclusive to qvc until launches in late December or January. I tried to buy it but they didn't have a shade to match my undertone.
Love the video. I’ve seen a couple reviews and they agree with you. A little drying in areas even when they don’t have dry skin. Weird. One question...what nail polish are you wearing? It’s so pretty yet neutral. 💗
I just got this a couple days ago and oh boy it looks awful on my skin. I creased in about 7.2 seconds. I didn’t have time to get my powder on lol. I’m gonna try it again and see but the BarePro creases immediately and in the same place as this does.
Quick question could you mix a matte foundation to blur the pores and a luminous foundation on other areas or just mix them together? I tried Nars soft finish and it looked like a mask on my face. It looked bad!!! Does the primer help? Also what do you suggest for eye primer to help keep my eye makeup on for a full 12 hours of work?
hi Christina! That is such a great question and YES! I do that pretty often especially when my skin is a little drier and I don't a full matte finish but I need longevity and blurring of my pores. Primer can also help, if you find a blurring or mattifying primer. My favorite eye primers are wander beauty , revlon colorstay and milani is really good too!
I use the Elta MD spf too. It was recommended by my dermatologist since I have rosacea & chemical spfs will flare rosacea. Anyway, I like the sunscreen but every primer I've tried to use over it has pilled terribly & I find that only It Cosmetics CC Cream applies nicely over the sunscreen without a primer since both are mineral based. So basically the CC cream is my only daytime foundation now. Is this something I'm doing wrong? I wait a good 10 minutes before applying any makeup. ( If I do wear a different foundation during the day, I mix in some of the CC cream so it will mesh with the spf better & that seems to help a little)
You can only do so many layers before something starts to pill, so you have to choose which thing is most important to you. A lot of people feel like that heavy thick elta md sunscreen is enough of a primer.
I am fairly light in the loose powder and the the fairly light in the liquid was so disappointing and too yellow. I also have the fairly medium in the powder and can pull that off it actually seems lighter and more beige then the fairly light, maybe I should try that shade in the liquid. I prefer more neutral and it looked pretty neutral when you swatched it. Still deciding and hesitant.
I have been apprehensive of Bare Minerals because I tried the mineral Mary Kay makeup when it first came out to compete with Bare Minerals and I broke out in a rash. That is probably not fair to Bare Minerals since most every Mary Kay product irritates my skin for some reason. I think you looked beautiful as always, though definitely a bit more glowy. Lol, I put this video on my 68” TV and your face was close up!!! I don’t think I would try this product, but I’ve been looking at some of the other Bare Minerals products. Is the skin care frig really necessary? I truly have no good location for something like that.
Question if I may ask does this foundation contain alcohol? I know Estee Lauder foundation double wear it does not contain alcohol so I don’t break out but and I’m not sensitive but if this has alcohol can you please tell us if it does thank you
I wish I could get a sample of this one. I have very dry/mature skin and, at first glance/reading the blurb, it seems ideal for me. But now I'm fairly unsure. I bought your palette and the 01 brush a few days back. I also wanted the bundle of brushes for hooded eyes, which would have brilliant, as it would have taken my total spend over the amount required to take advantage of the free jewellery with purchase. However, the brush bundle is out of stock ..... needless to say "I'm really gutted". Is there any way I can still order the set, pay now and have that total added to the previous one? Then, when the brushes become available they can be shipped to me. Doing this would then make me eligible for the jewellery offer! Does this sound rude? I have a hard time getting much from your foundation tests. Your skin is like perfect. Everything looks great on you. Which is wonderful but makes it difficult for me to judge. Lol
I too was sent this to try from Bare Minerals and I honestly thought this was the WORST product they ever made-- hands down! And I have DRY skin too! Yet the foundation was a hideous orange disaster. I usually love their complexion rescue products so I don't know what they were thinking with this one!
People with dry skin do not want something that looks shiny and luminous! They want something which FEELS hydrating. Shiny does not equal a comfortable moisturized situation. Mostly oily & combo ppl think that dry- skinned people want everything they do not. I guess it's easy for ppl to confuse shiny with comfortable hydration, but it's not the same.
This foundation was so BLOTCHY on me! I've tried it in different seasons , different moisturizers, primer, no primer. It was awful! Great color match though

I just got this a couple days ago and oh boy it looks awful on my skin. I creased in about 7.2 seconds. I didn’t have time to get my powder on lol. I’m gonna try it again and see but the BarePro creases immediately and in the same place as this does.

Quick question could you mix a matte foundation to blur the pores and a luminous foundation on other areas or just mix them together? I tried Nars soft finish and it looked like a mask on my face. It looked bad!!! Does the primer help? Also what do you suggest for eye primer to help keep my eye makeup on for a full 12 hours of work?
hi Christina! That is such a great question and YES! I do that pretty often especially when my skin is a little drier and I don't a full matte finish but I need longevity and blurring of my pores. Primer can also help, if you find a blurring or mattifying primer. My favorite eye primers are wander beauty , revlon colorstay and milani is really good too!
My holy grail eye primer is Urban Decay Primer Potion!!

I use the Elta MD spf too. It was recommended by my dermatologist since I have rosacea & chemical spfs will flare rosacea. Anyway, I like the sunscreen but every primer I've tried to use over it has pilled terribly & I find that only It Cosmetics CC Cream applies nicely over the sunscreen without a primer since both are mineral based. So basically the CC cream is my only daytime foundation now. Is this something I'm doing wrong? I wait a good 10 minutes before applying any makeup. ( If I do wear a different foundation during the day, I mix in some of the CC cream so it will mesh with the spf better & that seems to help a little)
Interesting! I guess I haven't tried to apply a primer over the Elta MD or noticed if any have had this issue.
You can only do so many layers before something starts to pill, so you have to choose which thing is most important to you. A lot of people feel like that heavy thick elta md sunscreen is enough of a primer.

I am fairly light in the loose powder and the the fairly light in the liquid was so disappointing and too yellow. I also have the fairly medium in the powder and can pull that off it actually seems lighter and more beige then the fairly light, maybe I should try that shade in the liquid. I prefer more neutral and it looked pretty neutral when you swatched it. Still deciding and hesitant.

I have been apprehensive of Bare Minerals because I tried the mineral Mary Kay makeup when it first came out to compete with Bare Minerals and I broke out in a rash. That is probably not fair to Bare Minerals since most every Mary Kay product irritates my skin for some reason. I think you looked beautiful as always, though definitely a bit more glowy. Lol, I put this video on my 68” TV and your face was close up!!! I don’t think I would try this product, but I’ve been looking at some of the other Bare Minerals products. Is the skin care frig really necessary? I truly have no good location for something like that.

Question if I may ask does this foundation contain alcohol? I know Estee Lauder foundation double wear it does not contain alcohol so I don’t break out but and I’m not sensitive but if this has alcohol can you please tell us if it does thank you

I wish I could get a sample of this one. I have very dry/mature skin and, at first glance/reading the blurb, it seems ideal for me. But now I'm fairly unsure.
I bought your palette and the 01 brush a few days back. I also wanted the bundle of brushes for hooded eyes, which would have brilliant, as it would have taken my total spend over the amount required to take advantage of the free jewellery with purchase.
However, the brush bundle is out of stock ..... needless to say "I'm really gutted".
Is there any way I can still order the set, pay now and have that total added to the previous one? Then, when the brushes become available they can be shipped to me.
Doing this would then make me eligible for the jewellery offer!

I have a hard time getting much from your foundation tests. Your skin is like perfect. Everything looks great on you. Which is wonderful but makes it difficult for me to judge. Lol

I too was sent this to try from Bare Minerals and I honestly thought this was the WORST product they ever made-- hands down! And I have DRY skin too! Yet the foundation was a hideous orange disaster. I usually love their complexion rescue products so I don't know what they were thinking with this one!
People with dry skin do not want something that looks shiny and luminous! They want something which FEELS hydrating. Shiny does not equal a comfortable moisturized situation. Mostly oily & combo ppl think that dry- skinned people want everything they do not. I guess it's easy for ppl to confuse shiny with comfortable hydration, but it's not the same.
I just watched Michelle Wang, she did a try on and it doesn't launch until January.
Its currently available only on QVC until Dec 26th I believe then its available elsewhere.

This foundation was so BLOTCHY on me! I've tried it in different seasons , different moisturizers, primer, no primer. It was awful! Great color match though
I am having a really hard time with this foundation! It pilled on my skin one day, and is patchy every time. Hmmmm. Not my favorite.
