    When editing the 32 step downward ramp pattern that controls the filter, if you hold shift and adjust the curve of the ramp part, you can adjust the ramps across the entire pattern at the same time. The patch sounds great - thanks for the video!

    Instead of the 32 ramps repeating at 2/1, you might find it easier to have one ramp taking the whole lfo repeating at a rate of 1/16. It's easier to manipulate & much, much quicker

    Transpose snap allows u to highlight notes in key then u don't have to worry about going out of key no regardless of what note u play

      Spot on, I have another video looking at this already recorded 😎 I had to explain it this way first to get people used to the idea of using semi tones but Vital is a beast when it comes to key locking 🎛

    Technical question: Is there a way to move the main Vital folder containing all the presets, important system files, etc without everything disappearing. Or is there a way to change the file directory? I want to put the folder in my Maschine folder instead of in my music folder which is where Vital was installed for some reason. Thanks

    Lovely info mate. What is the benefit of using sequences in a synth? I rarely ever use sequences, I use the midi most of the time

    • @demishellen
      @demishellen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Quick inspiration is one reason but my reason for sequence use is on repetitive sequences that do not change. This way the sequence is the same and all automation is done with in the synth as opposed to writing out tons of modulation data in your automation lanes.
      Either way the modulation is the same but I find it saves time when browsing patches.

      @@demishellen Thanks for the detailed reply. My weakest component at music production is using lfo's and envelopes on most synths. I can understand it in Sylenth quite well. My greatest skills is getting by with no real idea )

    • @demishellen
      @demishellen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A few months of experimenting with these things got me fully up and running. Experimenting with multiple genres got me understanding modulation with them quicker.
      But this is why I am here 😎🎛

    Hi, total noob here. I use FL studio, is it possible to have this playing on a track while one of the macros or the bottom wheel adjust? Do note i dont plan on using this for a song, but practicing what can be done.

    Hi Demis, how comes Vital is working in Cubase on your computer so smoothly? As I am aware there is a GUI performance issue in Vital using the VST version.

    • @demishellen
      @demishellen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Delete the vst3 version. The vst2 version works fine. Until there is an update I would avoid using the vst3 version.

    I tried it, but at the first step LFO1 with Level my sound is completly different.
    I think my version is 10x faster.
    Why is this?
    I used the initial pattern and all I have done was to change the LFO1 like you did and than I assigned it to the level knob.

    • @masterreif
      @masterreif ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I give the answer to myself.
      I rewatched the video and I found the part I have not noticed before.
      I have to change the frequency in the LFO1 Window to 2/1.

    • @demishellen
      @demishellen  ปีที่แล้ว

    Basically a very detailed video tutorial. But the quick mouse movements (sometimes without comment) make it very difficult to follow the individual steps.
