I don’t normally leave luggage on but I’m going to try using it I really prefer it on the bike then off it’s compact handy size she sounds great a careful 600 miles running in is required can only improve things down properly
£500+ for a topbox is ridiculous isn't it? They all charge this sort of money for OEM luggage, which I think is taking the Michael. A lot of people don't care for the look of the NT1100 but I don't get the objection - it looks very nice to me.
I agree with you about the cost of luggage my panniers are a standard feature of the NT 1100 I’m glad I hung onto the top box I love the look of the bike it’s different
Bought mine, DCT version, 6 weeks ago and have done 1200 miles. Very happy with it. Regarding the top case you fitted, did the base plate fit directly onto the Honda rack or did you have to buy an addition adapter plate?
@Cookey77 I have a top box the top box plate fits to my bike with an adapter plate supplied by Honda my top box is a Givi V47 but I rarely use it to be honest just when it’s needed mostly for carrying my sleeping bag the adapter plate is thin you would have to look closely to see it

You'll need a different rack. I believe Shad make the top box for the NT1100 and the fitting is very specific.

I have had her out after dark they seem fine to me
