Looking forward to this series! I'm a 38M who has always 'hated' running. I've tried it a few times and it was always miserable, I never understood why anyone would do it. A few months ago a friend talked me into joining him for an indoor rowing class. It was absolute torture, but I felt amazing after it - and I realised that this is what exercise could be doing for me. 6 weeks ago I started running to get more of those sweet endorphins and to increase my stamina for rowing, and now I'm hooked! 32:00 parkrun last weekend and I'd love to be running faster 5ks and longer distances in the future.
It’s amazing the difference having someone to run with can make. It definitely helps get you out of the door and even helps getting you to run to the next corner, or the next lamp post, just getting you to push that little bit beyond where your body says stop.
Great podcast as always Harry. I love how you connect with all guests, from elite runners to people just starting. Really interesting stuff. As my own running journey has it's ups and downs, it's fascinating to hear about Ami's journey and I can't wait to see the videos.
Another great interview Harry. I think Ami is going to be great. Really looking forward to the series following Ami’s progress.
Awesome A J thank you
Nice work. Great effort.
Cheers Stu
