"Castle Dracula" Tribute and Time Lapse

- Tribute I produced that includes a time lapse of a replica I painted of an old billboard from the Wildwood boardwalk that was advertising the haunted Castle back in the 70's and early 80's. The castle sadly burned to the ground in 2002 and will be forever missed. I added the accurate number of light holes around the entire billboard, which was constructed out of heavy plywood. The chase pattern of the lights is accurate as well. One "version" resides in the Boyer Museum in Wildwood, NJ, and the other version, in my home studio.
That was an Incredible recreation of one of my fondest memories of going to Wildwood as a child. I remember when the pier had the roller coaster and the wax museum. It used to scare the heck out of me when Dracula's balcony doors would open and he would point and talk via the pa system. Rip Castle Dracula.. you will be forever missed.

Finally found a friend who was able to tell me the name of this attraction. Went in it several times as a kid, so many good memories. RIP Castle Dracula this video makes me wanna cry

Dracula's Castle was a one-of-a-kind attraction. So sad that it burned down. Family used to go to Wildwood every year for vacation and I just loved the Castle.
Same, it was such a fond memory of my childhood. Even the outside of it was an attraction and a treat to behold

Wildwood was once a great place but no longer. Rip off 14% motel room charge. Better off going to Disney. Refuse to walk boardwalk at night with loud musis coming out of stores. Not many good places to eat. When we go there we end up eating in Cape May or Stone Harbor. Too many of the same color codos look like housing projects.
You are complaining about things that always existed in wildwood.
They are trying to gentrify Wildwood with all the condos and new construction. Over 100 doo wop motels were lost since 2002, the year Castle Dracula burned down.

Great work! Never having been there, I never experienced it. Interesting how the Kiss members were displayed outside. Any info on that?
They were advertising the “world of wax” museum not far from that spot. They had the kiss characters in there, plus Elvis and Dolly Parton
