The Extractigator weed puller is the best tree puller we've found for gorse. Gorse plants up to 5cm diameter can be easily removed roots and all. Minimal soil disruption and excellent pull ratio (min 12:1, max 24:1).
Hi Emma, it's good to have a tree puller you can rely on. Tree pullers are a great tool, you don't need herbicide and they can be good for minimum disturbance work. Just remember to try and use it when the soil is moist for best results (i.e. it's easier for all the roots to then come out). Thanks.
Gorse is a nuisance and I have never liked it, but this presentation used so much stigmatising language it made me laugh. There are benefits to Gorse, but I do get it that the negative issues outweigh them. I'm glad I don't need to battle with it where I live.
