@0:34, the street to the ferry, building with red roof, should be 'Rancheros' but it appears the signage is missing. Have they closed? Been eating there for years, always the same dish, Tequila shrimp, they made the best and right at your table.
Well it has slowed down but thats to be expected with all the things happening with travel right now....I see the street construction and the park have moved along pretty good thats wonderful to see...I think its going to be end December before we can get down there now...our travel restrictions are very tight and I don't see that changing anytime soon...we gave up our condo rental for this year our landlord found someone to take the rental so thats good for him to have someone to take it...what a crazy time in this world but this will pass at some point we need to keep positive! @@kneshoba they try to rip you off in every avenue on 5th ave. An other places. The clubs, the stores, the taxis. Like for instance one lunch we got. I was paying on my credit card. The bill was x amount of dollars in USD. The guy tried charging me double the peso amount thinking I wouldn’t know the difference. Then “oh oh sorry”. They tried charging me $200USD because my plastic condo key stopped working. Etc etc. It’s fun. You just have to be prepared and aware. They’ll try and rip you off all over it seems. Even the police tried to take pesos one night from one of my buddies I was with. It’s like a lawless no rules game for them it seems. Even without them trying to rip you off. Playa tourist area is expensive for everything. Just be cautious when you go. 👍🏻

Yep, it slowed down probably due to the new covid restrictions. Now you have to test negative within 3 days of returning home so people probably just cancel their trips. I know some resorts provide the testing onsite.

Unfortunate we don't recall that restaurant ever being after travel restrictions were put in place last year.
