As a Kings fan since ‘85 I’m bummed to lose Jordi. He’s an amazing guy and you’re fortunate to have him. Glad we’ll only have to play against him twice a year.
Appreciate the fan perspective from the Kings side 🤙 I think if you are a Loyola fan of a sports team these are great moments to see a coach develop and get an opportunity… AND rough to feel like you are losing a potential great HC long term.
I would of preferred Coach bud due to his tenure and experience since Sean marks seems to be interested in winning now. But I also heard quite a few good things about Jordi with the kings, and when he coached the Canadian fiba team to bronze.

I wanna see what offensive system Coach Jordi installs. Is it gonna be what the Kings ran, or do we see some elements from the Nuggets? Does he go back to a more switch heavy scheme with some drop/at the level with our bigs? I hope he has a successful run as head coach, I’ve heard nothing but good thing about him as a coach

Not too familiar with this guy but I’m hearing nothing but good things sooooo with that said…BEN SIMMONS WILL BE IN HIS CONTRACT YEAR NEXT SEASON. I really really really hope that this a hire was because marks and Joe realize they were wrong that they aren’t close to getting a superstar and that it’s time for an actual rebuild. Then this type of hire makes sense but if it’s simply a hire to appease marks ego again because he doesn’t want anybody in the room with any more basketball knowledge than him then I am against it because Mike B would’ve had way more to say about the roster building And philosophy on this team and that has been a really weak spot for Marks.

Armbrecht actually said he missed the Irving / Durant days. These two also went on for about the entire show saying they don't thinki Cam Thomas's value outside the Nets is that great. But yet they keep saying how awesome Bridges is. Bunch of talking heads that know ZERO.

Slamming the Nets for something they never officially said makes no sense. A journalist will always put out the juiciest most drama filled article. Guarantee when Sean Marks announces the Jordi hire there will be zero negative comments about Bud, especially when he gets questioned about not hiring him.
Why does any of it matter, it’ll be at best the same season next season probably worse, no draft picks, no young players with potential, everyone seems tired of playing for the Brooklyn nets
