Making a Landscape with the Finest Vessels

  • This work is a collaboration with ceramic artist Hirotake Imanishi.
The work was created based on the concept of the smallest unit of landscape, replacing the cell, the smallest unit of life as expressed by Mr. Imanishi, with landscape.
I will be exhibiting at the exhibition "Connect with Green" to be held from 11/28-12/11. For the first time, I will be exhibiting multiple works.
The venue is +ART GALLERY on the 14th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square, which symbolizes Japan and is in development.
In addition to the works released on TH-cam, I plan to exhibit several new works.
I would be very happy if you could come and see my work that expresses the beautiful nature of Japan in the smallest size.
I am very grateful to have been able to work with such wonderful artists.
I would like to take this exhibition as an opportunity to increase opportunities for people to see my work in real life.
Also, for those who live overseas and find it difficult to come to this exhibition,
I would like to prepare to be able to experience the work.
Also, we will inform you as soon as it is ready, so please look forward to it.

I went this weekend and was so astonished. After following Asu for many years on TH-cam, it felt unreal to see his work in person. I wish everyone has a chance to see a work of their favorite artist one day😌

Congratulations on your exhibition, you must be so excited and proud! I’ve loved your work for a long time, and I’m so pleased to see your art being celebrated. You’re incredibly talented, and your vision and attention to detail in every single one of these pieces is phenomenal. I wish you all the best and much success with your exhibition, and I hope for many more for you in the future! Sending lots of encouragement from New Zealand! 💜

I couldn't help but notice you've been at 946K subscribers (or at least in the 900K area) for quite a while now, perhaps as long as I've been watching your videos. It really is a crying shame that you're not at 1M subscribers yet. You deserve that achievement, with how much detail and care you put into your videos, both in the craft you're presenting and the way you create an ambiance for your viewers. Congratulations again on your work being in an exhibition!

This time I don't understand what you are doing, I have to admit.
Why using planting cloth from the bowl up on the rock -> when sealing everything with soil (aka can't pour in water easily now) and not filling water in the bowl beneath to keep the moss spots wet via the cloth? Why sealing the middle part with wet soil, when then filling dry sand on top (I understand that it's due the sand has to stay above the lava rocks, but wouldn't it be easier to use aquarium cotton/planting cloth for this?)? The result may look beautiful but I suppose there might have been ways to maintain it easier. e.g. by using water in the bowl, just enough so the soi isn't touched by it to prevent rotting.
