Thank you for this. Is this the reason why the parking brake light is on even if the handbrake is not engaged? Does this affect the acceleration if the handbrake light is on?
This switch is not the only reason. If it remains lit after the parking brake is released or if it turns on and off intermittently while you're driving, it means you need to add brake fluid. This switch illuminates even when the parking brake is applied by one click.
My friend 2 are the possible causes of your problem: 1st possible cause: Parking Brake Switch failure (Check or replace the parking brake switch). 2nd possible cause: glowing led handbrake light on the speedometer (Check or replace the led).
Beside my parking brake is always off, my ABS indicator not turn on when the engine switch is turned to the ON position, is there a possibility if the blown fuse is the cause?
