I draw some semi-decent stuff but when you look to go further you'll find that next step just so much better than your previous stuff and it really is just an endless cycle. It's really bad when you start watching animated anything and start to dissect it, or when you're just walking around you'll notice a curve on a root with some ants and be like "Oh, that's a good skateboard ramp" or something and draw a bunch of ants skateboarding along the roots. Feels creatively infinite man.
I see where you are coming from, but to me this sounds like an excuse to not put the effort in to improve your art. This idea that you have to be good from the start or that you need natural talent to be a great artist is stupid. Everyone starts at a different level but where people should be focusing on is there effort into improving there art. Even great artist started out being trash at art, but you what they did, they put in the work and stoped giving excuses to why they won't be good artist. Also y'all, stop comparing your self to other artist and start comparing your self to older pieces of art that you created.
