- Eric Nicksick is the head coach at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas and one of the best coaches in MMA, if not the best. He joined me to go through the UFC 300 card and break it down. He used his expertise as a coach to suggest how the fights might go and why which person may win.
We went through the entire main card, and then discussed a handful of the bouts on the preliminaries. He had a very interesting take on the Jiri Prochazka-Aleksandar Rakic bout, and expressed concern about Kayla Harrison after seeing how she looked today after making weight.
Nicksick gave a great analysis on Cody Garbrandt, who opens the show with a bout against Deiveson Figueiredo, and he broke down the Calvin Kattar-Aljamain Sterling fight well. Sterling often trains at Xtreme Couture and so Nicksick knows him well.

I LOVE YOU KEVIN

Please keep asking Dana white good questions. You're one of the only people who ask decent questions
So you're saying that Jamal Hill is going to out strike a two time glory kickboxing world champion, who has only lost a striking fight to one guy in the last decade, and that's Israel, who is the other best striker in the UFC? Who has Hill beat? Only Glover, and there is a reason why Alex is the champ and not Glover, because he will beat him as well. I just don't understand how people think that Hill will win a striking fight. No way. If he gets in too close he will get countered and it will be over quickly. Add to that he's got a leg injury and there's no way he's been able to train properly for the last two months, because that would mean that he started training properly only seven months after the injury, which isn't enough time. Everything I just said adds up to him losing, and he will. 🤷🏻♂️
Please save this comment for when Hill wins.

@@marvinlomo5845 did you watch the fight? It was an embarrassment.
Love you Eric, but this Bo nickel fight makes no sense whatsoever. The 2500 favorite is all the proof you need. He needs to be fighting people where he's no more than a three to one favorite. This flight is a waste of time.
keep crying about it and maybe Eric will respond to you.
Here's what no one is talking about. Max has only lost to one guy at 145 in the last decade and his name is Alexander Volkanovski. Every other guy he fought he has made look silly, including Brian Ortega, who is a huge 145er with world-class jiu-jitsu. Don't underestimate Holloway. The Poirier fight is meaningless. If Max does to Justin what he does to everyone else, it's going to be a long night for Justin.
NICKSICK NEVER FOUGHT. NOT THE BEST COACH IN MMA. HE USES ALOT OF CLICHE PHRASES & TERMS ALL COACHES USE IN COACHING SPORTS 101 BOOKS. WHICH FOOL ALOT OF PEOPLE. HE SEEMS LIKE A GOOD MOTIVATOR, JUST NOT AN X'S & O'S TYPE OF GUY.
DEFINITELY NOT THE BEST COACH IN MMA.
HIS FIGHTERS ARE 1-6 IN THEIR LAST 7.
K bud keep talking to yourself
yeah he is more of a motivator
