May I ask you if you are familiar with 'Methods of Mathematical Physics' by Courant and Hilbert?If so, what is your opinion on it? Do you think it is dated from the pedagogical point of view, or do you believe it is perfectly actual? Cheers.
I like the book but, since it's old, I would say it's perfect ;) However, one can definitely learn with that :)
