- djudjeito made one of the most interesting entries for the NCS Gauntlet Contest, "folie", which unfortunately did not reach the top 20 after judging. However, that definitely made me remember this creator's name, and it's great to see another level by them so soon. This is over 3 minutes long, featuring many of the same things that made that entry so unique to me. The main draw is definitely the dark atmosphere, which is thanks to the great combination of song and visuals. There are lots of trippy effects that look really good and synchronize nicely to the music. Aside from that, the level is full of custom art, either in the background or the block designs themselves, all featuring a consistent, rough style. This goes hand in hand with the aforementioned effects, making for a distinct identity. The combination of really dark blue and red also strengthens the atmosphere.
I didn't have any major problems with the gameplay. It can mostly be played by just following indicators, which I know some people aren't a big fan of. Personally, I think it's okay for a level like this which has such a unique visual style, as they can typically be difficult to sightread. In that case, indicators help to keep the difficulty lower, even if the gameplay suffers a bit in enjoyability. Considering how dark some parts get, especially in the ship at 1:45, I recommend playing this at relatively high screen brightness. With that and the length in mind, I think this will be an Easy Demon once rated, and I think it could even get a Legendary rating. All in all, great work by djudjeito! I will be looking forward to their next works.

I love the creepy vibes this level emits, I also LOVE when people utilize regular-unusual GD objects to form their art, its simply genius and works beautifully, the paralax effects in this level truly brings it to life! The atmosphere stays very consistent in quality which i love! Huge props to the creator for making such a beautiful XL level! :)

i've been able to see djudjeito's creator progression firsthand and i think it goes without saying that they've been improving incredibly rapidly in recent times. really happy to see this get uploaded here, and i too believe this should definitely be Legendary rated. :)
I was expecting some cool ice volcano art, but this is also good.
The mysterious atmosphere makes the level so unique, and the effects are really the cherry on top. One of my favorite levels of 2024
