How to use Autel IM608 & APB130 adapter to read a VW polo 2016 dashboard. Retrieving the data from chip and calculating the IMMO data. This was a dashboard sourced from eBay so no ECU data available for sync calculations.
Update:
The new APB131 adapter can be used to replace the APB130 adapter. No lift pin.
APB131 can do a lot of things no only MQB, also read V850/RH850, Ford, Nissan, Renault MCUs.

I tried to do the same on a VW Golf 2018 with an MQB NEC35xx via OBD unsuccessfully. My scenario was to add a key (proximity key). I've tried with Autel IM608 II and with VVDI2. I believe the cluster was secured and that's why I couldn't read it. May I need to do it the way you do, by removing the Instrument Cluster. Good job. Thanks for sharing.

Apb 131 also workrh850.
What i dont know, can autel make dealer key with xhorse XE remote xt27b, or with xhorse mqb chip? Ask because couldnt make a dealer key with XS series.

So this would be the same process you have to carry out even if you only wanted to add an additional key when an original key is present on this particular MQB system ?

it can do MQB48 both add key and all keys lost. AKL needs sync data from 3rd party

Anyone succeeded in reading rh850 chip by apb131? I did everything as per provided diagram but programmer fail to read at 12%

Autel allows to submit datalog. Let engineer check your data log and reach u.

no need to lift the pin bro just cut the track in front of that pin and solder wire to pin
