I have a ds like that one, a dr5, td3 and an 8track digital mixer. On a small budget what's my next move in your opinion?
The dr5s internal battery ended a few months ago and I lost years of progressive data. I put a similar battery in but it's under powered but still works with limitations. I got it from new when it was 1st released. That's a heads up to other users. Thanks 👍
Hi @planet_oith, thank you. Well thats hard to say. Depends on your taste. Maybe you think about to buy the nanoloop 2 cardridge, and on the other side to combine the stuff with your machines think about to buy a syncbox that combines Din Midi and Analog Sync. But most they are a bit expensive so maybe its better to buy a korg volca that you like. With a volca you have a machine that has midi in and an analog sync in and out. So you could build this chain: Dr5 Midi Out into the Midi In of the volca. And with the volca analog sync out you can sync the nanoloop 2 cardridge. In the past you have to buy a synccable or build your own but one of the great features of the new nanoloop cardridges is that you can use a standart 3,5 mm male to male cable as sync cable. Hope that helps. It costs money but its not so expensive like the big machines. Greetings ;)
