Here from the Backlogs whip video, I’m glad he recommended you. You’re just as crazy as he is… hahah Great run! I look forward to a bit of binging and S&S in my future. [+1 Subscriber. No Stat Bonus. No Effect.]
I am going to try one of the swords in this game soon that also counts as a gun. Apparently you can get like triple the damage I had here so I am pretty excited. So I will be sheen shooting more here soon lol
Fun Fact: there was a bug that affected gun damage based off the weapon you hold, like for instance if you hold a mace with the extra blunt property then your gun will split it's damage. So it looks something like this. Just holding the gun splits your damage 50/50 (50% slash 50% strike) but if you hold something like the mace you get (25% slash 75% strike) or a sword (75% slash 25% strike) it's odd.
It feels like Salt and Sacrifice made a lot of 'meh' choices which led to it being less popular than its prequel. Like I get it, they didn't want it to just be a rehash of the first one but it felt like they were chasing a trend, trying to make a 2D monster hunter when World was big...not to mention the boss design (all mages) is kinda...meh...like Dark Souls 2 got hit with the "most bosses are dudes in armor" critique and for Salt and Sacrifice most of the bosses being "dude in robes with elements". Like none of them feel memorable compared to the first game.
I played salt and sanctuary for hundreds of hours, and it became the main game to play whenever I had friends over because the PVP is so much fun. I highly recommend playing the sequel as well, builds become absolutely monstrous even in early game
@@epicscarsbro5841 I loved doing a storm build with the aeromancer weapons and the electro mancer weapons. Both have very good AOE’s and projectile attacks
I didn't pick up the sequel for a long time because I'd heard the enemies were full of cheap juggles and other nonsense. Did they ever fix that? I got both on deep sale a week or two back.
Its honestly a great game. Not all that long either so really fun to replay with different builds. (Also NG+ is a MONSTER if you are looking for a challenge).
as many times as I’ve beaten this game into the ground, I never knew there was a shortcut from the castle of storms to mals castle also did kran summon adds IVE NEVER SEEN THAT WTF
In case you don't know it yet: the random NPC you got the frozen tome from is actually the thief you first met in the castle of storms. This is the final location of her quest line.

🏃FLINT LOCKWOOD-

It's not a bug, it's intended.
If you hold the Tetruncheon, 1/4 of the damage becomes slash
Really bummed they didn't include pistols in salt and sacrifice

@@luketfer that and the final boss is straight up nameless god but definitely with a loss in the cool as fuck factor

Whats your favorite build in the second game?

@@FelisImpurratoryou don't get juggled any more but it's still pretty challenging without a friend
I like the challenge you do as it isn't as math intensive as others take their run and I like the more casual approach
this video convinced me to get the game

Love the S&S videos!

Amazing video! Ive been looking at this game and thinking about getting it.
Fun fact there is a sword that shoots bullets called
Flint and steel
Buffing the sword also increases the bullet's damage which is great
I will be trying this one soon. Actually really excited to compare it to the regular pistols.
