That's not good either, but they are ignoring the part where he attacked a championship holder and actually gave the guy a reason to want to kick Ethan's ass. Ethan didn't just walk up to someone and yell at them.

The storyline loopholes for jumping the line to actual title matches instead of eliminator matches make even less sense imo. Don Callas politicked a title shot for Hobbs but somehow Soup has to go through an eliminator, and even if Callis can only politick one title shot why didn't he give it to the ace of his team instead of a lower card, basically now Soup is already barred from competing for the belt, and then comes Roddy he only needed to ask Tony and how he's casually given one lol.
I love AEW, and I really want them to stick around forever! Oh I don't watch the product at all. I just love the amount of entertainment I get from TH-cam in the form of rants, complaints, and critiques thanks to AEW's decisions.

I don't really see any problem with that. It's just like who wins between Priest and Drew for the championship at CATC faces Gunther at SummerSlam cause he guaranteed himself a shot by winning the KOTR. Just like Osprey guaranteed himself a shot by winning the casino gauntlet match. It's kinda like the same thing to be honest. You can't say who wins between champion and the challenger but Gunther and Ospreay are guaranteed to be in the match against any one who wins. Just like the winner of the Rumble having a match at WrestleMania.
vince and tony i think have opposite problems. i mean, presumptively. tony khan seems to let his wrestlers do whatever they want whereas vince had a control ptoblem and would micro manage his wrestlers to the point of not pushing them if they didnt do exactly what he wanted

Bryan and Vinny is so much better than WOR with Bryan and Dave. Bryan tries to lay down facts with Dave and Dave huffs and puffs constantly interrupting. On B&V he actually gets to finish a sentence and lays down facts.
however long the "honey moon phase" bryan had with aew, its definitely over and I'm kind of exactly where he is amazing matches, great characters but the story is just so over place at times still im now about officially as invested in aew as i am with wwe meaning i look at clips from time to time on youtube, and i'll watch ppv matches from time to time but im not watching every episode anymore, i haven't in some time its too much time to invest 100 percent in something that doesn't seem like it put itself together well it's not bad, but i can't stand plot holes and inconsistency in story telling i want to get completely into

So to recap: the previous PPV featured Will Ospreay beating Roddy Strong for the secondary title. Now, about 3 weeks later, Roddy Strong is challenging Swerve for the world title, with the winner of that going on to defend against Will Ospreay on the next PPV. So OBVIOUSLY Roddy isn't winning next week, but in kayfabe there's a chance that Roddy Strong ends up defending the world title on one PPV against the guy that beat him for the secondary title on the previous PPV. It's like Tony somehow forgot about his entire roster besides these three guys, or something.
I mean, it’s pretty trolling of Tony to do that. It totally plays into the idea that Tony lets the “boys” run everything. Plus, he knows Swerve will win and it’ll be a good match. There’s no logic.

Roddy getting a title shot doesn't bother Me but the way they went about it is stupid. Swerve is a fighting champion and they could have just had Roddy make the challenge after his match and have Swerve either come out to accept, or have commentary say Tony Khan called Swerve to tell him about the challenge and Swerve accepted. This segment just felt so WWE
it’s clear Tony books more to put on matches that he thinks will be cool, then anything that will make sense. i dig a lot of the matches AEW puts on but it would be nice if we could get to them in some sort of logical way, Tony really need to start running his ideas past some people before putting them on air.

This is what I love about professional wrestling. Only in wrestling can a guy work for a company for a couple of months, cause complete chaos, leave on bad terms, and then come back to work for that company a couple of years later. Wrestling never ceases to amaze me. I didn't expect to see Lio Rush back in AEW, but I am not surprised.

AEW is proof that good matches doesn't overcome bad booking. It's a good lesson that B&V are learning when more and more people are turning away from the promotion.
@@randyp8849 15 tables per match isn't wrestling. It's garbage. Also it is poor formatting and lack of understanding of how wrestling should be presented. The Main Event is Anarchy in Arena which means all kinds of spots will be done and all types of furniture will be used. The way to protect it is by making sure to make weapons illegal in all the other matches and force the wrestlers to have proper wrestling matches with or without extra stipulations. This way by the time people reach the final match they will be super excited for all the spots they will see that have not been done before. WWE does this extremely well and it is not difficult. Just make sure to tell the agents and the wrestlers to NOT do stuff that you want to save for the last match and fine them if they don't comply.

I get it. But when I saw the segment, I was fine with it. You have a great world title match on Dynamite, and in storyline if Roddy upsets Swerve you still have a great main event for Forbidden Door. Then if Osprey beats Roddy, Swerve comes back, beats Roddy for a shot at Osprey, and Osprey and Swerve have an all timer for the title
Lio Rush is damn good. I can't wait for hime to retire next week. Then come out of it by the end of summer. Only to have him retire again in October. Then have his come back match before Christmas, before retiring again in the new year.

@@randyp8849 15 tables per match isn't wrestling. It's garbage. Also it is poor formatting and lack of understanding of how wrestling should be presented. The Main Event is Anarchy in Arena which means all kinds of spots will be done and all types of furniture will be used. The way to protect it is by making sure to make weapons illegal in all the other matches and force the wrestlers to have proper wrestling matches with or without extra stipulations. This way by the time people reach the final match they will be super excited for all the spots they will see that have not been done before. WWE does this extremely well and it is not difficult. Just make sure to tell the agents and the wrestlers to NOT do stuff that you want to save for the last match and fine them if they don't comply.

I get it. But when I saw the segment, I was fine with it. You have a great world title match on Dynamite, and in storyline if Roddy upsets Swerve you still have a great main event for Forbidden Door. Then if Osprey beats Roddy, Swerve comes back, beats Roddy for a shot at Osprey, and Osprey and Swerve have an all timer for the title

As an AEW hardcore, Collision doesn't feel special. I feel the TK and Elite angle could be more crazy.
