Healthy living is so important. Air circulation / convection are routinely overlooked by other builders (professionally & self-built vans). Mold & mildew so easily take hold inside a van. The spaces you allowed around, under & over the cabinets & components goes a long way in preventing that. One less thing to worry about. Of course it makes for comfortable & even heating & air conditioning too. Nothing escapes your attention in your van builds does it!
Good Sunday Morning, George! I know I’ve said it many times over the years, but, you NEVER cease to amaze me with what and how y’all are capable of doing regarding van production! The bed works in this van is absolutely phenomenal! Well, ALL of the stuff in this short 170 inch van is for that matter! I’m just constantly amazed with y’all’s brilliant workmanship! Wow! Great video as always! Stay safe my friend! ~Jim in Houston,Tx~
Goerge .... YOUR "attention to detail", is second to NONE !!!! You and the Humble Road team produce the "highest" quality in each and every build ...... Truly AMAZING work, hands down !! "Thank you" sir for yet another great video displaying the fine craftsmanship of your work ...... Have a great day, sir ! (Rick from Massachusetts)
I am sure someone watching will snap this up. Your workmanship and reputation through these awesome videos speak for themselves. Good luck to Mr. and Mrs. Sprinter. Thank you for supporting the sale of their van.
IDK. I mean, I agree that the van is nice but there has been a *massive* slowdown in the sale of vans across the board. Depending on pricing (and I know George may not have complete control over that in a consignment situation) a van can sit for a while nowadays.
Pretty nice. George said that he would come back to the laundry drawer (4:00), but he must have forgotten. I was curious to see what, if anything, was special about it, apart from the closing mechanism. I like the pipes and cutoff valves that Humble Road uses for plumbing.
Handsome, brains & comfort (the van Geaorge, the van : ). Seriously, this van is sweet but it's the smart & safe features that provide peace of mind. Whoever purchases it will enjoy c-a-r-e-f-r-e-e living. Priceless .
Happy Sunday morning, George! Oh. My. Goodness. What a beautiful van. Again, your attention to detail is awe-inspiring. I would be thrilled to have a van like that in my life. ~ Patti from 🇨🇦
Gosh I love this beautiful van! I have watched a lot of layouts but this particular van is one I have come to conclusion is my favorite. Really and truly. Especially love the bed and dinette set up and the awesome size fridge.
Lot of inspiration (like always!) for the rebuild of my 2014 VW Crafter (as it’s the same because every part in it is by Mercedes 😊). Thank you George! Can we have a deeper look at that awesome Bed ?
Ahoy, my Captain, my Captain. This van build of yours is one, if not the top of my absolute favorite ones. I wish it was mine, but c'est la vie. I'm sure it would take me saleing my house to be able to afford it. Congratulations on the new owner(s), I'm sure it will be like dust in the wind and be blown out the door very quickly.
Amazing how he's able to cram so many features into a motorhome of that size. Understanding that every added feature involves engineering, compromise, and sacrifice, if this were my RV I would probably want to figure out a way to incorporate a convection microwave. Not sure where it would go, or what would need to be sacrificed, but it's something I would definitely want.
Hi George, do you have a timeline when you have a Maxi-Me ready? I am very curious about that one. The work you are showing on your channel is just amazing!!

Hi George. Do you send out the red line schematics in an O&M book. Do you keep a book in the office of each van with the red lines and info of all the appliances and items in each van? You vans are so beautiful and thought out for each customer. You must have a way to keep them all straight. I'm old, so I made binders. I like holding something in my hand. If I win lotto you are the person that I am calling to start my van.
Due to the custom nature of each van, schematics would take too much time to produce for each and every van. My design philosophy allows for "behind the walls" access throughout the van. Very easy to see what's what and also easy to run fresh lines in the future.
Oh that's funny to hear you say the word epoxy ❤ I just put some sparkle paint two different colors in two different layers and it turned out looking like the Northern Lights ❤❤ I'm going to put it in the bunk area ❤ George I really want to use the epoxy resin on the walls which are going to be quarter inch mahogany but after the two coats on the bed bunk area man it's really makes it stiff 😮 My van 2022 170 high top 4 x 4 has just now got 3,000 miles on it 😮❤❤ now it's time for my walls and Cabinetry😮 thanks George for all your advice and help and videos along the way one day I'm going to get back east
Olá... estou acompanhando seus vídeos...e fazendo uma jetvan com esses perfis......seu trabalho é ótimo...foi através do seu trabalho q resolvi fazer as estruturas com perfis. 👏👏👏
I absolutely love the bed design. I have been racking my brain designing something very similar for my Transit 148 extended. Do you sell any plans for the design?
I hope the couple who had to sell this gorgeous coach are OK. I can only believe some major life change must have occurred to let this one go. Regardless, this is your best yet, George. Stunning in every way. If wifey was already on Medicare, I would be calling you right away, but unfortunately with the cost of medical insurance for pre-Medicare people, this is not possible yet. In the mean time, I will continue to be amazed at your workmanship, design, build and integrity. Well done, sir.
How about putting a 500 lb. slide on the bottom drawer with a cover to make a step onto the bed. They pull it out at night and push it back in the morning.
Nice idea but what is on the other side of the wall has to be considered . . . it may allow or prevent the use of the sliders. I expect that was taken into account.
If I could’ve figured out a way to put my zero gravity electric bed in my van I would’ve done that. I just couldn’t justify taking up that much space. 2 1/2 years later I don’t regret my decision
Only Reverse Osmosis filters remove ppm down to zero, otherwise much chemicals and minerals remain. The problem with RO is the filter lifetime. You either have a short lifespan filter or have a system that rejects a good part of the water. Destiled is also an option, but an energy hog. I'd like to know your thoughts on this.
sediment, charcoal and uv light. Does the job. You can cook with it, you can drink it. Compared to what comes out of your faucet at home, this is the best bang for the buck in a van.
@@HumbleRoad I measured ppm after sediment filter and carbon, without change in the output (big surprise!). Only condensed water brought it to zero, and what is left in the boiler is scary. RO is also an option that requires experimentation, that is where you come in. Thanks!
@@josidasilva5515There are different levels of water quality to be considered. For me, the goal is safe & pleasant drinking water, not water to the point of absolute purity. @@asnormal1362 I used a 20 micron, 5 micron, and carbon filters in series with 325 ppm in and 325 ppm out. Always good to test with a meter just in case.

I just met your builder John and his wife on the ferry. Nice people 👍🏻

Your van build was excellent. Stay tuned to humble road there are some amazing builds on the way.

How many cylinders is this van? Aren’t Sprinters 4 & 6 cylinder only?
What company manufactured the shower accessory?
Beautiful
I wish!
Fantastic work and true design worthy. Love it
Beautiful van. When you gonna start to work on the Promaster 118” 😁 Jc n RED

What’s the floor made from? What are the white strips in floor?
The floor is a vinyl version of a cherry and holly sole from the boating world.

It looks brand new. It must have been very gently used.
Yes, It is a real beauty. It sold within 24 hours, but the buyer financing fell through, so now it's available again.
@@HumbleRoad beautiful! Assuming this has sold?
What brand of epoxy do you use on your small table? Please and thank you 😊
Where is the gray water tank located?
The grey water tank is a labyrinth of 6 inch PVC pipe under the van. There wasn't one area large enough for a tank, so I snaked it!

If only I had the means....sigh. Beautiful! Mr. and Mrs. Sprinter giving up the life?
$215k…. That’s a lot of cabbage. You could buy a medium sized airstream and a truck for that. Different animal but much more space.
What mileage does the Sprinter have on the odometer?
approx 18,000. However, miles don't matter with a Sprinter. Fed Ex retires their Sprinters at 500,000 miles.
What flooring did you use?

nautikflor teak and holly

No cultured marble allowed in vans.

Why did Mr. and Mrs. Sprinter sell their van?
They didn’t have it very long.
We know it’s not a quality or craftsmanship issue.
