It's been YEARS since I've been home. Watching this video took me right back to Back Street, down to my mother's former workplace, and to the beach! You brought tears to my eyes......Thank you!
I have a large collection of Bob Marley music but for this occasion I think it would be appropriate to hear the sound of Alston Cyrus better known as "Becket ".
Thanks to everyone who enjoyed my video. I spent a couple years living in SVG and watching this made me miss it, hopefully some day I can make it back.
totally luv this video clip men.. i,ve bin waiting for some one to post a nice video of S. V. G.. THANK YOU.. i havent bin back in twenty somthing years. and am surely enjoying the seenary..
I love it! The last musical selection seems prophetic (even though it is Jamacian music). Very appropriate song for the images. Love the way you also took advantage of the moving vehicle to capture the countryside while riding. If gave a sense of professionalism albeit an amateur production. Overall impressive.
@lx0az9 ..First of all Bob Marley was not only a Jamaican, but a West Indian as well. West Indian music is not confined to calypso and soca,it includes reggae as well.Secondly reggae is played a lot throughout the Caribbean and is international music.
It's their video, & they can play whatever type of music they want! I understand the native frustration, & maybe they could've found some SVG music to play. HOWEVER, they can do what they want on THEIR VIDEO! It made ME interested in both SVG & Bob Marley, so YOU STILL WIN. Quit complaining & enjoy the tourism this video will bring. IJS. God bless!
@lx0az9 that is exactly what I am wondering!!!! SVG has more than enough music of its own that this video should not have any other nationality's music as background music. This situation needs immediate attention.
@kahalemusic maybe your point would have held several decades ago but not when the tourists you speak of actually want and expect something profoundly unique and original only to the place of destination which they visit. In this era of tourism enlightenment and individual regional market promotions, using another nation's music can be a fatal flaw in the final tourism revenues.
vincyjewel donot let jasonsparx get you down, he is looking for attention , plus he donot like women. he is like a prisoner who has just been release but one that lacks social grammar . very illiterate .
Really, Bob Marley is universal but is there no REAL VINCENTIAN music suitable enough to play along to what could have been an excellent vid. IDENTITY. Stop having foreigners ask us which part of Jamaica is St Vincent. It pisses me off.Address this so that I can rate.

@filli297 I was thinking the same thing, so MANY quality music originated from this island.
