My suggestions are: replace the hobby knife with non sterile surgical blades and handle, Dremel tool with chuck, small machinists 123 blocks, balsa building board, straight pins, spring clothes pins, set of miniature screw drivers, precision squares, and more. Favorite power tools are Jim Byrnes table saw, mini-lathe, small mill. I stay away from hobby shops for tools since I can find better tools and lower prices on line.
All great suggestions, but I was really thinking of the level of hobby tools just above a knife and some needle files. It you have a lathe and a mill you must be doing stuff well beyond what I am.
