CSX "Family Days" at Collinwood yard in Cleveland, Ohio. Ride behind CSX 1976! (08/12/2023)

Today for a last minute birthday idea, I attended the family days event for CSX in Collinwood Yard. A friend invited me in, and I was given an amazing opportunity to view 1976 Conrail up close, and even ride in the CSX observation car behind it on a active CSX main! This was a very impromptu visit and made it quite a memorable birthday for myself. Sorry for the crude filming, I was honestly just taking things in and so excited to be there. The gentleman in the white with sunglasses while the train is reversing, is Joe Hinrichs. He is the CEO of CSX transportation, and a very friendly person I might add. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Enjoy!

The cab area would look shiny if it was painted Conrail blue with the white face and the lightning bolt painted red.

Employees, And family/friends of the employee. They did not have a sign-in or anything like that.
