Hello doctor,
I have a doupt ... i read that fallopian tube surrounded by serosa ... but as far as i know that the fallopian tube is infraperitoneal ... May you calrify to me this issue
thanks alot
They are infraperitoneal in the sense that they lie in the pelvic cavity and are draped by peritoneum and not suspended by mesesentery form the posterior abdominal wall like the small intestine or transverse colon. At the same time the uterine tubes are almost completely covered by peritoneum; this peritoneum is represented by the broad ligament. The tubes are located within the upper free border of the broad ligament.
@@akram.jaffar Now it is crystal clear
thank you alot doctor!!!!
