A lot of things come to mind watching rigg's swing, and none of them are good. Guy holds his finish like his swing is poetry.
he looks to be really struggling with his swing, he has played a lot better in other videos. Kind of strange that you have great golf minds helping Frankie and Lurch while Riggs basically has the yips with his full swing. You'd think they'd try and help him through it.
I think it’s a thing where riggs either is playing a character which happens to be a guy who stinks at golf and acts like a douce anyway while playing or he is delusional.
@@JulianShell33 he's played a lot better on other videos but he's clearly been struggling for a while. Looks very yippy on his full swing would be interested to see what his new handicap is cos he's been struggling for a while. I know his swing has never been pretty but recently it looks like he's forgot how to play completely.
Riggs and Lurch both get no strokes. +1 vs +12 on the front 9. This is like a last hoorah, I never realized Lurch was the reason I liked these videos until it was too late.

Riggs needs to get healthy, then do a ton of range work. The short game work is showing, but it’s time to do some work with a teacher.

I played Dumbarnie 2 months ago. It’s an absolutely gorgeous golf course. I’m glad you guys entertained the caddies! I also took my caddy to places he hadn’t seen on the golf course!
Rip lurch his personality was such a better draw for this group than Dans IMO. Worth not having him on half the pods to have him in videos they are much more entertaining when he’s in them. Not sure hiring a big j golf journalist was really the right move for an everyday golfers podcast. Find myself not consuming as much of the content since lurch left and it sucks

Absolutely fantastic. I grew up camping on that very ground most summer holidays with my dad and brother. We pitched our tents next to the big concrete bunker type things in the background. All this long before this course was there. Great childhood memories

Just played here twice last week. Sensational course with incredible staff.
What an awesome course. I've really enjoyed this series. This was up there with Prestwick. Love the terrain, so different than east coast US courses.
We need Lurch back for the videos... I don't mind him not being on the pod, and Danny is better on the pod, but this stuff, Lurch is the best on camera guy in the group.

Oh yeah, the juxtaposition of his game and his mannerisms is hilarious. It's like he practices how to look like you're good at golf and not how to actually be good at golf.

By sending a caddie that has never been on the course, it’s clear Dumbarnie doesn’t get it. I would have told him, “As a forecaddie, you get to see the holes before me. And, you get $100 every time you sacrifice your body to keep my ball in position.”
The mid game coaching wrecks the group dynamic. Regarding Lurch, it’s rare someone can be funny, competitive, significantly better than his buddies and not be obnoxious. I’m not sure he’s valued appropriately.
This is the most dour and un-enthusiastic bunch of caddies ever assembled.
This course is in Fife which is nearby the Forth Crossing with thr 3 bridges which takes you to Edinburgh the most beautiful medevil majestic city on the planet.

I used to find Lurch mildly annoying… *but* I’ve grown to respect him as the team guy. All the videos he’s in, it makes the group tighter. Really like Danny, ace writer, and enjoy watching videos with him too… but he seems quite similar to Riggs on camera and Lurch’s uniqueness is missed.

Riggs needs to be honest. He has a move that works in front of no one, the second there is any pressure whatsoever it crumbles. I’ve been in the same boat. He needs to change it up ASAP. No one can rely on that much hand eye coordination with that move, no matter who you think you are.

Some constructive criticism: Someone should talk to Sam Bozoian and tell him that he’d be light years more likable if he was just honest about his game. He is NOT a single digit handicap. Not even close. We all know those golf frauds and we all hate them.

It's one thing when they brought on Dan "The Nose Pick" Rapaport, they knew what kind of golfer they were getting from the get go. But they have been playing with Lurch for years, all slowly progressing with each other, and Lurch took a jump forward while the others stayed somewhat stagnate. I mean Frankie has improved, and so has Trent. But Riggs with the +5 handicap (like FUCK he has ever been anywhere near that number lol) shoots a 48 front? Hahahahaha what a bum!!

Trent complaining about Lurch hitting it 320 and saying you can't compete with that. He gets a shot on every hole, if he hits 2 straight shots 160 yards each he's in the same spot as Lurch is every time. Sometimes it feels like Trent leaves his brain behind on some of these videos.
