- ミドリガメぴくの脱皮の季節がやってきました。
この日はお尻をフリフリさせて、私に背中をこすりつけてきました。
甲羅がめくれてかゆそうだったので、甲羅はがしを手伝いました。ぴくは背中が気持ちよくなって喜んでいます。

I love the way the turtle was using the cabinet corners to try and rub some scutes off! Also, when you picked him up, he showed no fear! Turtles and tortoises can be very loving.

亀を飼ってみて私も驚きましたが、結構賢いです。部屋の間取りを把握していて、家具の配置が変わったらじっと見ていますし、家族の顔も見分けて、相手によって態度を変えるんですよ😊

亀が、家具の角に背中をこすりつけて痒そうだったので、掻いてあげたら甲羅が簡単に取れました。
The turtle rubbed its back against the corner of the furniture and seemed to itch, so I scratched the turtle's back and the shell was easily removed.

陸ガメと水ガメで甲羅の作りが違うのかな。
長年お世話されているんですね。水ガメでも種類によって脱皮の仕方は異なるようです。ミドリガメも甲羅以外の皮膚は水槽で常に垢のように落ちます。陸ガメさんは常に新陳代謝しているのかな。

@@gferraro2916 もちろん、自然に剥がれるのが一番よいです。無理やり剥がしてはいませんよ。亀がとてもかゆそうにしていたから剥がすのを少し手伝いました。
