Incredibly well played, bro!
Thank you!
The tone is so identical. You’re are insane! This cover is amazing man, I love that you’re posting more, I’ve been watching you for a while!
Thank you very much! I'll try to keep more covers coming!
Dude this is insane! Great work!🤟🏻🎸🎸
Thank you so much!
You're doing the best ac/dc guitar covers in youtube! The way your rhythm differs on the Gretsch vs SG is simply perfect! I've also noticed you do the power chord with the pinky finger just like Malcolm did! 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much, that means a lot! Yeah I try to cover both Angus and Malcolm as authentically as I possibly can and over the years Malcolm has just gained and gained admiration from me because he was the defining factor in AC/DC.. his playing is a lot more difficult to get right than Angus’ playing is
@@TheLucasMurphyhow are you getting the subtle differences? Carefully listening, isolating the tracks, or are you going off of official scores or trustworthy tabs?
Starting out as a rhythm guitarist I got Malcolm's playing off the bat, but Angus sounds and looks, thanks to you, much more like a standard rock guitarist playing dirt simple licks.
I guess the genius is the product of them coming together. Without Angus it wouldn't sound like rock, but without Malcom it wouldn't be as rhythmically complex and it wouldn't want to make you move.
@@boxerfencer I listen to these tracks day in and day out and try to pay as much attention to detail as I can. It’s that desire to get things “right” that pushes me to try out different things and I will practice for hours on end just to make “the little things” work. Tabs never really seem to work for me, I just use my ears.
It's the first time I've seen someone do the live version of the final solo of this song, you could do a totorial I ask you broo
Nicely done sir!
Thank you sir!
Unreal good😮👌👍
Thank you!
Good rythm 👌
05:18 That was amazing. But the thing that blow my mind is your Tone. 01:02 when you mix both guitars here. It sounds awesome. How to get 1969 Gibson SG Standard like this? Is hard to get? im lost. Left handed only find Gibson 2019 2020 and recent.
Thank you very much! The SG was a rare find at a local vintage guitar shop but there are some you can find on reverb.com. They’re pretty expensive in most cases though
I look the video 10x because its so good😂. Which speakers are in the cabinet?
Thank you haha! Celestion G12M25 Greenbacks
Great cover, but why didnt you play the famous last solo , which Angus plays for decades
at the very end of this song live ?
Epic Song! Good job man! Some of Bons best and most fun writing! A song that just rocks the right way!
What SG is that? The vibrola and walnut makes it look like a rock n roll machine
Thank you! Yeah I especially love their live performances from back then. They were something special!
It is! It’s an all original SG Standard from 1969
True! For me, the more bluesy, classic Bon Scott era stuff is the essence of AC/DC. The raw old school sound of humbuggers through plexi goodness is the best sound in the world. And you truly bring it to a new level with that guitar. Keep it up!
Very very good. Which marshall amp is it? Wow
Thank you! It’s a JTM50 clone, made by SoloDallas.
👌
Ok i think its a marshall Logo.
@@Stefan-cx1gd it is
Can you make a video about if you want blood an the jack live Version munich 2003 circus crone?
Sounds great You really got the tone🔥🔥 What kind of settings you used for the angus parts on the amp and the storm pedal?
Thank you. Amp: Presence 0, Bass 3, Mids 4, Treble 6, Volume 7. Storm: Input Full, Boost at the 9 o’clock position and Snap was about half way
@@TheLucasMurphy Thanks! Keep Posting Covers really love them! I also have all the solodallas gear But I sound nothing like this. You recently also did Shoot to thrill I really like the tone you have on that cover!
@@TheresaFlyOnTheWall thank you! The Amp setting I found don’t make that much of a difference, it’s a lot more subtle. It’s the speakers, mic and position plus the EQ afterwards that get you close to their sound
@@TheLucasMurphy Yes that’s also what I Already thought! I’m a noob when it comes to that you have so many speakers to choose from! With a EQ thing I will get lost really fast😂
@@TheresaFlyOnTheWall that’s alright! I was lost for long as well and just got into it by trying things out, just twisting knobs until I figured it out haha
