@@AutumnHarvest1 he's in the show Girls, & he's really good. There was a one season show, a comedy called The New Normal, with he & his partner hiring a surrogate to have a baby. It was good, I don't know why there weren't more seasons, but I still watched the one when I found it.
He is always so great; I still miss The New Normal. That show had so much going for it.

I saw the SNL sketch before I saw this show and I thought it was something they just made up. Then I watched this and was like, "If anything, they soft-pedaled it." I ADORE Drew Barrymore but this gig is so not right for her. It's like she loses track of what she's saying mid-sentence.

I thought a showmance was when it was just for show, like to promote something.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes or Mike and Karen Pence.
Among theatre kids (and I guess theatre people generally) a “showmance” is like a universally recognized term for falling for a costar and then dating. There’s also a stereotype that they tend to end up breaking up after the show ends (lol) but I’m glad that’s not the case here!

He’s a pretty famous within the Broadway and the theater community. He’s been nominated for two Tony’s and he’s also won a Grammy. He has done a lot of movies and popular shows as well, and he’s done voice work on shows like Sofia the First, Pokémon (he also did a live production of this) and Liberty Kids.
While he does a lot of things outside of theater, he is most popular among theater fans. He did Hairspray in 2005, he originated Elder Price in the Book of Mormon, he was temporarily in Hamilton, he did Falsettos and he also did the Netflix version of the Prom
