Been looking for something like this for a while. Awesome. I know what you mean about the downside sometimes when its better to just hold the coin instead of having a bot but on the upside, it's like you said. Can't complain when a bot is making you money while you sleep and lowering the risk factor at the same time. Rather win steady 100 times than win big 10 and loose big 15.
I've done a good deal of playing with bots lately. While your profit numbers were impressive, I would want to know what the overall market(s) were doing during your testing week. When markets are up (even slightly), bots work well.. When the markets drop, you're going to lose more in the value of the coin itself than the bot can make up in trading. Bottom line: I'm not sure it's worth the work (and need to monitor) as compared to simply trading the coins themselves (and maybe with a bit of leverage, for even more action).
That is just true for trading in general though. Of course they did better when the market did better. Humans are the same way. And they aren't a lot of work. It takes a few minutes to set up. Depending how you trade, they are often far less work. They are more work than HODLing.
The rebalancing bot is actually a very useful tool for investors. Put all your crypto into a portfolio, including the stable coins, and let it handle all the fluctuations between coins. You can modify the percentages according to BTC bullishness/bearishness. For example, now you should be at most at 20% in crypto and 80% in cash. If BTC reverses course and keeps climbing then you modify it to 40-60, then 75-25, and eventually to full crypto. Use moving averages to estimate bullishness and bearishness.

Buying bitcoin doesn't make you a winner, the ability to make profits daily out of your capital is what makes you a winner. Stop depending on the market prices to make profit, choose trading over Hodling...thoughts?
I will always advice anyone now to forget predictions and start making good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. The market is very unstable and you can't tell if it's going bearish or bullish. While myself and others are trading without fear of making a loss others are being patient for the price to skyrocket.
Maybe the BTC price will go to some high number in December but then only drop 30% or 50% or even less but, we are gradually leaving the bear market, I've was able to survive the bear market from implementing trades with tips and info from Ms. Elizabeth Rossiello.
You left out one of the most important points - Short term capital gains tax. Everyone should be considering this with a bot like this. It seems almost irresponsible to leave it out of the conversation. That being said thanks for the video and other content!

Bots come close to the same profit I make with regular trades, after the fees. One siautaion where bots excel in my experience, is when a coin goes sideways. It makes profits arbitraging off small movements up AND down. So I could hold a coin for a week, and if the price fluctuates even just a bit, but overall moves 0% that week, I will still have a bit of profit. It also helps mitigate trades that go straight down, by at least arbitraging. When the market goes up, it doesn't seem to do any better than just holding the coin. That's ME though, they may work differently depending on market dynamics at the time. It's good for lazy day/swing traders haha. For HODLers, it's probably better just to HODL. If you watch your positions 24/7, you will also probably do bettter than the bot. Like, trying to profit from sideways movement is like pulling teeth. I'm looking forward to trying these in the next bear market.
I still come out profitable, albeit a little bit, because sideways in crypto is still wide enough gaps to overcome the fee. I think if you good some kucoin too it pays for fees at a slightly better rate.
True but also his bot was diversified. BTC could have also dropped 33% had some fud news occurred. To me, the grid bot almost seems better for a wave trend rather than volatility? But thats the problem with algos, they only work when the market is in their favor. A bear bot, a bull bot, a wave bot, a volatiilty bot...only works under each specific condition. My advice is just use them as a little hedge and make sure the bot you're running is favorable to the market conditions........
This is quite informative and interesting, getting into bitcoin or any cryptocurrency investment now should be at the top of everyone's bucket list, then see how ecstatic you will be in due time, But will advice you seek professional advice before going into any investment, to avoid loses of funds.
Hello, I keep losing trying to invest with some TH-cam trader's , but I am still trading to improve my techniques, I just need a recommended source to invest and earn while still trading??
In all my years of trading and research, the most valuable insight and decision I made was getting in touch with an expert trader, Mr. Donald Briggs and ever since I started investing with him , I made more profit than ever before, I will recommend him as one of the best trader in the market, feel free to contact him👇
What a coincidence, So you invested with Mr. Briggs too? This man is really dominating the trading zone and making things easy for his investors, keep up the good works sir.
ok, ok. But you caught an incredibly bullish trend. Bot or no bot, you would have made a profit. What would happen if you set up the bot in a truly volatile pair
I'm noticing that when I stop a bot I have much less of the non-USDT crypto. There aren't any great ways to time the repurchase (or back out of the bot) so that I grab a good rebuy price. If the price is high then I might lose whatever gains I'd shown while the bot was running I think. How do you time stopping a bot or what strategy is there to retain gains while not losing so much of your position in that non-USDT crypto?
The Trading Parrot has a bot orchestrator that turns bots on and off according to market conditions. Works reasonably well but I still like to monitor things.
@@anfernee6566 oh yeah, $3k would be more than I make now but I sit at a desk all day so I could always be on alert for market trading and take action. Just started, trying to understand KuCoin's interface.
You can make deposits to your Kucoin account via credit card (not recommended due to high fees) or by transferring funds from a US exchange such as Kraken (you can find tutorials on how to do this on TH-cam). You convert your USD into LTC in Kraken (because the fees for LTC are the cheapest, this may have changed though), and then you send your LTC to Kucoin.
@@didikaiser5781 basically I am trading monthly options and honestly most of the time I am gaining. However after 2 months of being profitable, it took just one day to wipe 80% of my portfolio. It was a premarket dip of almost 20%. Now I am careful to put more counter positions and other hedging tactics
The time range doesn't really matter as it has a built in stop loss/take profits where the bot shuts itself off when outside the price limits. I think the bots are great if you don't like the technical analysis side of trading. If you just want to pay attention to the news and adjust your bots with market sentiment, it removes the most boring aspect for me. (the charts)
@@DanielDroegeShow all true and good but I bet there are weeks where the bot is losing. If the market turns bearish for example. I would test it for a longer period to see the result of different market conditions.
@@24lanrak Yes, the bot loses, but it is mathematically impossible to lose as much as you would have if you just held the coin over the same time frame. You can only lose with the bots when compared to holding if the price spikes like it did with the SHIBA coin in Max's example. Even then, you are not losing in your position, just missing potential profits which would not have been realized if you take profits anyway.
the bot is running exactly from the start of October. even a monkey could make more than 5% in that period of time. we should see how the bot works in bear market.
Spot grid trading bot The bot divide your money into few limit order up to you how much to choose and it will make limit order so you choose your price range for the bot to trade for example kcs/usdt price range 10usdt~19usdt you are allowing the bot to do trades in tbis price range and if the bulk market higher then you lose out the bot Mao emany limit orders so even if the price of kcs went up to 19 usdt and dropped to 11 usdt you will still make profit assuming your entry price is 13usdt
Wait so what you saying is you ran 2 separate bots for each coin? 11:56 Like with the example of INU, your custom bot made almost 300% where as the AI bot made barely 1%?
Really need to kno where trail stops can b traded as I set stoploss that I thought were extremely high only to have it surpass it, did that to me on ETH, SOL n COMP! 🤨
i just found something that you missed about the spot trading bot. When a crypto is moving around in a range it sets buy and sell orders for the same total and amount. So if it stays between the exact same range for 1 day it will make nothing because it is buying and selling for the same amounts with the same totals. So this bot won't make any money buying or selling high and low unless the bot moves heavy to the sell side. So if you are trading ETH and start at 3400 and it stays aroun 3400 it will break even until the crypto moves out of the 3400 range to the upside.
and will lose money if it moves to the low side on 3400 .. so this bot mostly makes money with large area trades for small amounts if a crypto goes high and you want to get little money as it moves to close the bot at what you think is the peak. if it retraces back to your start you will not have profit.
@@KL6KNINE more or less yes. But another thing i learned is that the bot will get grid trade profit which will help should it go down in price slightly. So it is a good tool but mostly the use is to buy something that drops for a bit and you earn profit until it breaks out again.
@@dawkinswashere--tcg9199 depends on what your bot is trading though. I started a shib bot for $100 ...i think both simplex and kucoin take a fee when you deposit into your account. I put in 150, so i thought. when it processed, ended up being 130
I made 1000USD in two days, with 3.5K budget..with BOTS... BLOK si kinda trading now, easy money.. But with this kind of raise its better just buy dips and sell on highs "manually"
@@MaxMaher It has very closely matched yours. The spot grid bot can make lots of money. Especially being able to squeeze profits out of something if it is moving mostly sideways and not doing a huge pump like Shiba did. Sometimes the bot will do great but as you said, if you had just bought some of those coins and held onto them you would have had potential for some huge returns. Ill add that if you do a smart rebalance bot and add a coin you think will have a huge pump soon, it will keep rebalancing and pour that profit into the other holdings in the bot. When you think the pump is over you can edit your holdings and remove coin that has pumped before it corrects or continue holding if you see value in the long term.
I appreciate this experiment and content. I'm in a situation where I'm considering dumping a good chunk of money into crypto but I've been doing some research ahead of time to ensure I don't lose it all. Keep up the good work!

Now would be the best time to own cryptocurrencies, I should consider investing so I can start counting profits, any suggestions please?
Maybe the BTC price will go to some high number in December but then only drop 30% or 50% or even less but, we are gradually leaving the bear market, I've was able to survive the bear market from implementing trades with tips and info from Ms. Elizabeth Rossiello.

You left out one of the most important points - Short term capital gains tax. Everyone should be considering this with a bot like this. It seems almost irresponsible to leave it out of the conversation. That being said thanks for the video and other content!

Strategies for max profit:
1. Bull market -- HODL
2. Volatile market -- Bots
3. Longterm investment -- Cost Averaging
how do you get usdt?
Thank you! That was very helpful
My pleasure. Glad it was helpful!
When using bots it's not about the individual Trade pair, you have to evaluate the entire Bot portfolio to see massive profit.

Very very very useful . Thank you Max
Glad to hear that!
Wouldn't transaction fees kill you if it was just going sideways?
I still come out profitable, albeit a little bit, because sideways in crypto is still wide enough gaps to overcome the fee. I think if you good some kucoin too it pays for fees at a slightly better rate.
Great video, thanks!
Yeah, but at the same time you achieved a 5% gain, BTCs value increased by 33%, so I don't quite get why this result was good?
True but also his bot was diversified. BTC could have also dropped 33% had some fud news occurred. To me, the grid bot almost seems better for a wave trend rather than volatility? But thats the problem with algos, they only work when the market is in their favor. A bear bot, a bull bot, a wave bot, a volatiilty bot...only works under each specific condition. My advice is just use them as a little hedge and make sure the bot you're running is favorable to the market conditions........
yes I bet it is very consistent though. Also it is good because it requires zero time, after they are set up.
Hi Max!!thanks for all the explanation!!do we have to stop the bot to take profit ?
I think it get transferred into a stablecoin immediately

What is your opinion on the Infinity grid bot on kucoin?
Sorry for writing you, just out of curiosity your page come up on my suggestion friend list so I was just wondering if I knew you from somewhere?!!!
ok, ok. But you caught an incredibly bullish trend. Bot or no bot, you would have made a profit. What would happen if you set up the bot in a truly volatile pair
nice informative video, does it matter when you start, in a low trend or in a high trend? what kind of effect on BOT in low or high trend?
I'm noticing that when I stop a bot I have much less of the non-USDT crypto. There aren't any great ways to time the repurchase (or back out of the bot) so that I grab a good rebuy price. If the price is high then I might lose whatever gains I'd shown while the bot was running I think. How do you time stopping a bot or what strategy is there to retain gains while not losing so much of your position in that non-USDT crypto?
The Trading Parrot has a bot orchestrator that turns bots on and off according to market conditions. Works reasonably well but I still like to monitor things.
Hey loved your video. Helped me alot. Do you know how to add to favorites in bot section
I don't think that's possible but i'll check!

Is Kucoin legal for US citizens and also does it allow deposit and withdrawal to/from US banks?
Yes. I’ve just started today
As far as I know Kucoin only use crypto, no fiat.
I don't think you can transfer usd to kucoin from another exchange, that's stablecoin.
Which one would you recommend for spot bots? Pionex or Kucoin?
Both Kucoin and Pionex are good for bots! Pionex is cheaper and more options bot wise :)
one week isn't a good time range to test profitability tho. I am in a testing phase of option trading for 10 months and a lot happened in between
Do elaborate
I love your videos, you can realy explain it in a very simple way:)
the bot is running exactly from the start of October. even a monkey could make more than 5% in that period of time. we should see how the bot works in bear market.
Bring me that monkey
Lmao 🤣
how much did you make
Spot grid trading bot The bot divide your money into few limit order up to you how much to choose and it will make limit order so you choose your price range for the bot to trade for example kcs/usdt price range 10usdt~19usdt you are allowing the bot to do trades in tbis price range and if the bulk market higher then you lose out the bot Mao emany limit orders so even if the price of kcs went up to 19 usdt and dropped to 11 usdt you will still make profit assuming your entry price is 13usdt
true - in a bull market, everything works. So all in all misleading video.
Thanks for the help!!!
Wait so what you saying is you ran 2 separate bots for each coin? 11:56
Like with the example of INU, your custom bot made almost 300% where as the AI bot made barely 1%?
no thats not what he was saying
His bot got 9 percent and all other shib holders got 300 percent
so he missed that boat
Oh ok, but can it be done, have different bots running at different ranges?
Where can we do stoploss trails? So it’s always moving at a % when the price goes above your mark, like it did with Shiba?
Really need to kno where trail stops can b traded as I set stoploss that I thought were extremely high only to have it surpass it, did that to me on ETH, SOL n COMP! 🤨
@@lj4001 etoro has a trail loss option.
i just found something that you missed about the spot trading bot.
@@DaVidciMedia so i guess you would just stop the bot completely when you see an amount of profit you wish to take correct?
@@KL6KNINE more or less yes. But another thing i learned is that the bot will get grid trade profit which will help should it go down in price slightly. So it is a good tool but mostly the use is to buy something that drops for a bit and you earn profit until it breaks out again.
@@DaVidciMedia but I find when the market crashes like it is now, all my bots are bleeding out except for Shiba Inu lol
@@KL6KNINE yeah that is the best time to add money to them. i did and doubled my earnings becuase it lowered the avg entry point

Cool feature Max! What is the minimum investment you would suggest so that trading fees dont eat all of your profit.
500 is minimum to create spot grid bot
@@dawkinswashere--tcg9199 depends on what your bot is trading though. I started a shib bot for $100 ...i think both simplex and kucoin take a fee when you deposit into your account. I put in 150, so i thought. when it processed, ended up being 130
Thank you. I play with bitsgap. Greetings from Costa Rica ;)
I wonder if Max has a new sponsor this week?
I made 1000USD in two days, with 3.5K budget..with BOTS... BLOK si kinda trading now, easy money.. But with this kind of raise its better just buy dips and sell on highs "manually"
Thanks Max, been using the bots alot lately. It is good to see someone else's perspective on them.
How has your experience been so far?
