you should try bloodstone instead of octarine, is pretty nice, very hard to die if not fast enough, shard/sandstorm/stinger/burrow/epicenter everything heals u a ton also does he "wahh" of waluigi, ORKS warhammer or just some weird "why"?
they should put the facets right below your inventory or make the icons bigger or something. i always forget to chose one before the game, especially if i pick last and im thinking about what items to buy for the 30 seconds.
The left one that increases the aoe and makes you invis. The dust devil facet is soooo bad: small af aoe, doesn't follow you when you stun anymore, the aghs is disabled when not in the aoe (not that you would buy aghs with it), aghs got nerfed a lot. Go the left one and buy a bloodstone and the aoe covers the entire screen, it doesn't have to follow you to be insane

You can go to HEROES tab in the main menu and choose the preferred facet for each hero there. It is set to that facet for your pregame phase
Nah they just should make the entire screen black and only show two facet before buying item
