I hope to someday hear the story of a wife that stabbed her husband while he took a shower. This story was back in the early 90’s as well. The story took place in St. Paul, MN.
It's in 2001 and the husband cheated on his wife for a long time. The wife was so hurt and premeditated the butchering. She planned to overdose herself with poison but was too weak to do so.
The woman you are referring to is the mother of my friend. When it happened I was 16 years old, as today being a mother and a wife; I can understand why his mother did what she did. I am not saying what she did was not wrong but she was a victim of all sorts of abuses that our Hmong community at that time doesn’t support. As of today, all I can say is her actions had changed our community views on mental, social and emotional issues.

Forgiveness is hard but that's lifting burden off of yourself not just the perpetrator. They're not selfish like their father. You aren't enlighten enough to know what Forgiveness truly means. The children are in the middle and are innocent both side can't blame them.
