Hi Praveen, thanks for writing in. This is the Z variant that is available with the 2.5-litre engine and 5-speed manual gearbox. Whereas the Z Prestige model has the new 1.9-litre diesel engine and 6-speed automatic gearbox. Both these variants are on sale as of now.
Facelift..? Just a method to increase the price of the vehicle. In countries like Malaysia, Philippines, these companies r selling Isuzu with 3.0 litre engine having 177bhp and 350 nm torque. But in India, these companies r selling low bhp models with high price. Check the price of BMW in Germany. Only 5-6 lakh difference from XUV 500. Body colour bumper and led lights and price increased 1 lakh. Appreciate the auto industry work. Excellent method to f*** the common man. Check the prices of Tundra and Denali and its specifications. Isuzu will be ashamed of.

Reason of high prices is tax system which allows these companies to charge excess which didn't pass even safety standards. The tax slab of engine depends on its size . Maximum companies tries to keep the engine size below 4m. That's why, V6 and V8 is a dream for us. 3.0 litre engine and 270+ bhp is introduced in the vehicles priced above 35+ lakhs...here SUVs r introduced with 1.0 litre engine. Is it a joke..? In countries like Canada, 250bhp vehicles priced between 10-15 lakhs... kindly check the margin of industry and dealers per vehicle.

I wanted 7 seater suv coz (my friend circle is big) with bold design great road presence so i bought Scorpio . But man i had to say isuzu d max is better off roader than My scorpio but scorpio has better road presence 🤪 .
It is in referral to those who are upper middle class but in City outskirts/farmhouse/rural areas . . . Tata Xenon was widely used for the same purpose when it was launched in Haryana and Punjab. To make it easier i would say this segment is like Chevy El Camino which was a huge Hit among both urban and rural population in USA and Australia alike. Cheers!

In Malaysia the 2.5 manual n auto has been phased out .The 1.9 has more power n torque but the 2.5 is quite a good car quiet cabin and smooth power
