  • Okay so we've heard of autonomous car technology, with everyone from Tesla to Google in on the industry. But what about autonomous army truck technology? This could potentially save millions of soldiers' lives.

I think it needs to be made a little smaller. You might as well drive a Buggy around.

Great so our soldiers will get lazy and fat out there in the battlefield... just great. Maybe this machine can also have a popcorn and pop dispenser for the troops and a dvd player to watch some movies? Thanks Lockheed!

Not at all. It makes it so you can carry more.
Compare the average modern soldier load to the load of a WW2 soldier.
      Probably about twice the weight.
The average Soldier has had just pounds of pounds of gear added to their kit.
This thing would be heaven sent. To be able to strap food, water, ammo, extra radio batteries to it.
It would make resupply less frequent.

Also if you have a casualty and aren't in an area where a medivac is available. You can free up soldiers who would be carrying the litter to actually fight back and pull security.
