Hahaha, I was NOT expecting the Tiddles storyline but I love it! This was so relaxing, I love the hand movements as you pointed everything out. That always gives me asmr for some reason.

Oh Miss Mary, this took me back to my grandmother who used to make dresses out of patterns. I remember she had all these wonderful crinkly McCall’s pattern envelopes and I used to just love listening to her go through everything and make her cuts. Wow, that’s really took me back to the time in my life. That was so wonderful and precious. Thank you! And the Tiddles story line was hilarious. 😊

When I was younger in the 60s/70s my mom sewed my dresses and my sisters dresses and they were so cute! She also sewed our curtains, etc. I remember Simplicity patterns all over the house, trips to the fabric store with my mom to have the lady cut the material for the clothes off those big bolts of fabric. Good times back then.
I love this. My mom used to make my Halloween costume every year as a kid from patterns like these and for like school plays or girl scout events she was always sewing me something so I totally love this. ❤ Also gave me tingles which I rarely get from watching too much ASMR 😆

I just had a very old memory pop up, I was about 6, and I remember my mom had magazines with patterns, I think in French, or something I couldn't read at the time, and I was fascinated by them.
I absolutely love the sounds of the crinkles from the sewing patterns. ❤ may I request a video of just sewing patten crinkles if/when you have the time? Either running your hand over them or with a soft brush or something? I’d be in heaven. Lol

Wow i haven’t gotten tingles from just speaking in the longest. It’s been so hard to get them but just hearing you talk did it!
It never ceases to amaze me that people are able to create actual clothes from these patterns. This paper is so crinkly, seamstresses should have a corner in their studio where people sit for live ASMR while they measure, cut and sow.
You seem very well versed in sewing, Mary...have you done a lot of sewing? VERY well done, and so relaxing! Will re-watch again and again : )

Oh the memories. My Mom made a bunch of clothes for me, especially summer outfits with matching tops and shorts. Also, Halloween costumes. McCall's & Simplicity patterns seem to be the most used by my Mom.
