Great videos WIlson! I've watched a few now, and I'm curious, what made you settle on the type of desserts you chose? Soft serve right? Did you cost out margins for gelato, etc., and then settle on that?
I have 2 Taylor C723...Bought them at a auction .Great Condition! even got them service for new o rings blades etc. Got them at a great price but my wife was pissed because they were not electro freeze (pumps) . We're located in Buffalo Ny. So we have both Service Reps for these freezer machine. I'm glad they're people like you that will take the time and give realistic advice base on trial and tribulations.I don't know what product you actually sell but we sell custard/ frozen yogurt and electro freeze pumps gives a better consistency than my c723 that I now have to sell.
Pls do a video with more info and details about the soft serve machine including prons and cond about each cause the 40.000 machine i think it through error codes that are highly repairable
Thank you vey much for your selfless effort and for sharing. I am hoping to have an ice cream shop sometime in the future; my question is, do I need to get a training on how to operate the equipment/make ice cream?
I found it very useful for your channel and it clarified everything I need to open my own business and I really appreciate that. Secondly what is the best ice cream maker machine any recommend
I can’t find much on what equipment I would need for a milkshake bar. Besides, what you have there and a milkshake mixer, what other bigger equipment would I need? I will be doing smoothies as well. There is more information out there on smoothies.
Did you start your business in a store or did you sell separate items first? What if I don't have enough money for a store? How should I start? How do I build the finances to get there?
i started with a small concept store. there are many different financing options if you are set on opening a F&B store. however, i highly recommend creating a digital commodity brand instead. lower overhead, high margins, lower labour and no need to worry about rent. follow along the journey and i will share more of what I am building :)
Thank you for your help I want to be icecream business man but I don't know where I can get these items in Africa? And I think if want starting things from zero, only icecream maker and cooler are most important
Google is the first place to check. Second would be asking your friends if they know anyone who knows people who work in these commercial equipment brands.
Could you please do a detailed video on food safety? Must have the equipment, proper temp, how to store, what not to do, etc.. in order to pass food safety inspection from an inspector.
Wilson K Lee - How To Open A Restaurant / F&B Shop thanks for replying on my question. I’m learning a lot from you videos. Thank you! We’re opening a Milktea shop in our area soon. Our first time to open a shop or restaurant.
Hi. I am interested in starting a home-based ice-cream brand that I plan to wholesale to grocery stores. I am looking into purchasing hard ice-cream machines. Would you have any to recommend?
Right now Im 17. I’m currently working at Walmart. I put icecream on the shelf, and it got me thinking, I should make icecream. I don’t want to have an ice cream shop. I just want to sell online and to retail stores. Any advice? Thank you!!
a brand that is super successful that does wholesaling of icecream pints started off selling at farmers market to gain traction. took them 3+ years to gain the traction and a solid community. once they were able to do that, they opened up a retail and now is one of the biggest brands of icecream in vancouver. this is just a sample of path, not one im recommending. the game with wholessaling is tough if you don't have the connections to the buyers at big stores like walmart. in addition, you'd need quite a bit of capital to produce enough quantity and enough SKUs for the buyers to stock your inventory. you will also need to ensure these products are produced in the approved facilities, can't DIY from home... hope this helps!
Hello, I want to start an ice cream store one day in India but I am really scared. I don't know how I'll get the loan or if I aquire the loan will I be able to pay it back? I want to start the first ice-cream sandwich focused store in India and also sell ice-cream separately in cones, cups and tubs. Do you think it's a risk worth taking?
Go through the process of creating a business plan and you'll have a clearer idea what the risk is and what needs to happen for you to pay the loan back. Plus most places will be hesitant to give you any money without you doing the research and work in planning it all out. Being scared is normal, but you'll need to decide whether you let that stop you or not. Best of luck!

margins has nothing to do with initial investment. they are view differently. initial investment of $120-140k which includes all equipments/revnos. margins are roughly 20% on revenue. :)

How many flavors of ice cream do those soft serve machines make?
depends on the model of your machine and how many drums it has. typically, 2.

$1000 for a blender…
This is way too much money spent
Interesting point, but needs quantifiable numbers. The equipment cost must be related to daily sales (and growth).
Please talk Less and to the point.too much time waste .Equipment should start from equipment and deiscription
Please be more grateful for others sharing insights with you. Especially, at their own free time. I don’t owe u anything.
