- In this video Salvatore Vinciguerra travels to Lake Griffin State Park in Fruitland Park, Florida. This is a great state park if you are visiting the central Florida as it is North of Orlando and East of Wildwood. Salvatore shows you the RV campsites, nature trails, and picnic facilities at the park. He also shows you special features of the park which include a mammoth live oak tree, the Dead River Marsh, the history of the park, and information of plants that grow in the park. This is an excellent park for biking, boating, and fishing.

Great trails, but I would be more tempted by the kayaking option. Then again, the marsh alligators... The oak is tremendous - I’m more used to the oak with one thick central trunk. The saw palmetto is quite gorgeous. The resurrection fern is interesting - I hadn’t come across it until now.
