Glad to find your video. We have subbed for sure great video guys. We are heading to Mexico in July 2021 and will be staying one night of our trip in Tulum. Thanks for all the great information on street food.
@@LisaAndJosh Bawahahahaha!!! A little Montezuma's revenge the next day without drinking the water huh? Looking forward to watching more of your videos now that we have found you guys. Keep up the good work.
To open the sauces that come tightly wrapped and tied in a plastic bag, use your teeth to tear open a small corner. Then pour out of that opening. Cool video. Thanks.
This is my kind of party!! Lol I wish you guys would've had a Torta Milanese, absolutely one of my favorite Mexican "sandwiches". As for Elotes..that was actually a pretty good price. Here in Chicago we have the guys that walk around pushing these little carts that sell all sorts of yummy stuff and one cup of corn goes for $4.50!! So I usually make my own, brush on the butter, next a nice amount of mayo, sprinkle w/ queso cojita ( I add parmesan also because I'm a cheese fiend) and dab on the Valentino hot sauce 😋 I've had close relations with those of the Mexican decent, and their preference is corn tortillas, but their trick is to double up the tortillas because they do in fact sometimes fall apart. However if they're handmade n pressed with Masa, they tend to be a bit more pliable. Glad to see you both in better spirits and also sending Octavious virtual kitty ear rubs!
Mm that sounds so good! We don’t remember seeing that torta, but definitely want to keep an eye out for it now! And yes, the elote was definitely still a great price, just more than the others :) still so good! Your DIY method sounds amazing! We’ve definitely noticed the difference between so many different kinds of corn tortillas. Had no idea-I love the soft, pliable corn tortillas! Thanks for the well wishes! Octavius loves it :)
