I just discovered your channel and am really enjoying all your great content. 'Art in the Corridor' is a hidden gem amongst all the narrowboat vlogs, and I really hope your suscriber numbers start to grow even quicker. Your distinctive and content deserves a far bigger audience!
Thanks so much for you kind comment James, hopefully we’ll be able to grow over time, I know a lot of the other vloggers used to share their TH-cam links on the various narrowboat forums to build their audience but unfortunately the algorithms no longer seem to like TH-cam links and posts that include them go unseen, we’ll keep chipping away at it and see how we get on 😊
Grew up watching it. Then my kids started reading the books at school, so we looked for the shows for my kids to watch them. They were hooked. Absolutely crazy Aussie classics.
Throw back....blast from the past! N the 90s I was living in Sweden, and Round the Twist was shown there! I was in my early 20s and in an orchestra.... I used to look after my friends kids in afternoons and so was able too indulge in kids tv in English language! Love being taken back in time like that! Your lighthouse looks fantastic and the icy narrowboat with the fox is one of your best to date! Using watercolours and getting dark is HARD! Have you tried Derwent inktense....they are incredible! Work well on fabric as well as paper/card etc....
I agree with usuage of Inktense, Really deep and vibrant. They are permanent once set on fabric. Personally to get darks in watercolours you have to do lots of layers. This means thick watercolour paper that can handle all of the layers.
I like it I think the fox orange came out ok and any bleed looked like it got covered. Like watching the techniques on the reduction prints. Lighthouse was cool.....cheers

Your lighthouse looks fantastic and the icy narrowboat with the fox is one of your best to date!
Using watercolours and getting dark is HARD! Have you tried Derwent inktense....they are incredible! Work well on fabric as well as paper/card etc....
