I would put an extra stop at Great Cambridge Roundabout as,even off-peak the underpass gets jammed cancelling out the express service! The previous SL1 also stopped inside and went through where I worked for over 39 years🎩
I would love to sign a petition making the super loop stop at woodhouse college bus stop😂 it would be so much more convenient to take instead of walking to Friern Barnet
Great video! Glad to see the two new SL routes in service and im excited to see how they are in the future. Always room for imorovement though like with the awkward spacing of stops and timetabling.
Many thanks for this - I did enjoy seeing it, and really appreciate your knowledge of the bus connections etc.. Re New Southgate station, it does have a reasonably frequent service in the peak hours, but for much of the day trains are half-hourly in each direction, giving the dismal sort of service south London gets! As most trains go to/from Moorgate, I see no reason why the should not run 4ph - or even 8ph. From a passenger point of view the difference between frequencies on tube and main-line rail are stark - but the Underground has had a successful model for over a century, based on high frequencies, consistent all-stations service patterns, and excellent, well-signed interchanges: from any underground station youcan easily reach hundreds of places, needing only the network map. Might you consider a video on the GN & City line - I feel it could have a brighter future with more trains - maybe it should become part of the OG. It could be extended from Moorgate to London Bridge, with stops at Mansion House and the Globe theatre, and then continue on the line from London Bridge to Peckham, Dulwich, Tulse Hill etc.. Another Cross-Rail at a fraction of the cost! Is Superloop only being considered by TfL as 'part of the buses', rather than as as addition to the tube/OG/rail network? For example, is it going to appear on the tube or tube+rail map? - and will SL interchanges be shown on the line diagrams on trains as are interchanges for other tube line? Looking forward to your next video
off subject i feel like there should of been a route outside of the orbital route in north London as the other quadrants do . maybe finchely to liverpool street via turnpike lane and islington. It feels off for the other parts of London to have 3 and the north doesn't
Yo man love your videos. I'm thinking about making similar videos about routes in South London and reviews of routes etc. Just thought I'd see if you thought that was a good idea. I would shout you out as my inspiration if I do do its
@@somenorthlondonerFair play. I think local communities lobbied to keep the 271 as it is after 11PM due to 24 hour hospital connections otherwise gone.
The scheme should be called "limited stop",not "express" due to problems with traffic on Great Cambridge Roundabout underpass on this route, for example 🤔🎩

That’s quite cool

Yes it absolutely would be

Should be exciting to see yeah
Stationlink was designed to provide a wheelchair accessible transfer, which was not possible on the Tube
Good video mate. Keep it up. Hopefully you can review 724/725 buses
I know the 724, whereabouts is the 725? Glad you enjoyed it!
@@somenorthlondoner725 runs from Rickmansworth to Stevenage.

Thank you so much, I’m so glad you feel inspired 😃
It looks odd that the SL1 duplicates the 34 for such a long distance - is such high capacity required along that section?
34 gets quite busy from Walthamstow to Arnos Grove so presumably! 34 has also seen a freq reduction
Radical suspended monorail over the north circular
My father has a similar suggestion to that although he’s not a transport enthusiast 😅
The N271 could've just been called the N263 right? Much to TFL's desire of "simplifying the network".
The N271 doesn’t reach Barnet so might look a little confusing

I think there should be the option for drivers during the event of disruption to divert around the GCR but not to have it as a permanent fixture
