Good deal. Don't pay anyone any mind about how much you paid. They don't understand a glider and the benefits of having one. I myself have one as well, my freightliner has an n14 in it and I love it. You'll make all that back and then some with minimal downtime.
Yep I hear ya 👍. It's definitely a specialized thing that people don't know alot about.
In 2016 I ordered a brand new glider build on Cascadia with extras for $130k. After spending $34k on fixing issues with my other rig with DEF. I am at the end of my career, so my glider has only 520K miles on it right now. No problems at all with the kit. Of course, that be some regular fix like turbo, alternator etc in the future same as EPA trucks. But no DEF drama. Glider has only 8 sensors on the motor vs. 30 plus on DEF. Very simple to detect and fix the problem. Yes current sale of gliders it's very pricey but from another perspective, very cheap compare to exploitation cost, stress, downtime over DEF trucks in just few years frame. Good to have a code reader scanner because handy for fixing by self. Congratulations, you will never regret.

No they wont only sale will be to another O/O looking for an older truck. Some carrier won’t lease older trucks. Good luck

Congrats, wut truck would u recommend new driver owners? Lookin for something in $50k range maybe less if its possible, just starting out, want to be able to haul oil/fuel, and is very reliable, that will last me at least 5-10yrs. which freight is best to haul to make the most money?
The block is the same size. the pistons are the only thing thats bigger from the 12.7 and it has the updated Ceramic rollers
Oh ok good deal hate to admit it but how much of a Detroit fan I am I wasn't sure of the difference. I have never owned a 12.7 but have driven many. Thanks 👍
You cannot get a truck like yours for that price anymore. I was looking at one with 798k miles for $97k. Ut was rebuilt 160k ago. But I still think it is too expensive!

From some one who’s built a 14L a 12.7 will take more power all da. 12.7 is the better motor of the two that can make more power. Anways... back to watching the video. Lol
My mechanic and others have always said the 12.7 isn't safe above 500hp before major internal components needing to be replaced. The 14.0 can handle 600hp just fine stock ?? Or at least I haven't had problems the turbo on the newer 14.0 was the problem but I have an old school turbo now
If you hauled heavy like tanks could you pull them with 12.7’s or you don’t recommend it? Also are both just as reliable?
Yes they are both reliable 12.7 will have less power but still can be done

What do think about this truck 🛻 2015 Coronado, 524,282 miles, 60 series Detroit, 500 hp, 13sp, APU, 260" whellbase, new trans 394,000, $69,900.00
You would have to check it out in person make sure it's good. That's not a horrible price about what I paid. 👍

No egr,no leaks, no transmission problems, no coolant leaks, overheating, no emissions etc. Etc......................Pepsi bought the first batch of trucks they will be on the road I believe the by late 2021
If I can buy one this year ( no chance of that happening this year or next year) I would take my chances on a electric truck rather than those new trucks with all those sensor & emissions & electric problems.
