As an austrian: "Oink Oink" is usually pronounced and used the same in german as in english, with "quiek" specifically referring to squeeling rather than grunting No idea if thats just regional tho
I hope the passion you guys had when this all started never dies. These videos are always so entertaining and I hope you guys love making them as much as we love watching them!
I love this german challenges so much, because I'm from germany and its always so funny how you pronouns these names. I just crying tears of laughing at: "WATTZAAAAAAAAAPF" and "Rotosmurf" 🤣 A little explanation here: Wattzapfs name comes from "Watt" and "anzapfen" which means "to tap into" and Rotomurfs name is from "Rotor" or "rotieren" (rotate) and "Maulwurf" (mole) 😄 Please keep going, guys ^^
Challenge idea for Sword and Shield. Pick a randomized starter. Then spin a wheel labeled 1-4. This correlates to the pokemons moveset. Lets say you get 3 and the move is bug type. That means you can only catch the next random bug type you see in the overworld. Whether its a baby, a decent, a not so decent, or a legend. Moves will be completely random to make things interesting Do this until you get a full team. You get 3 skips that have to be used... then wait for it! You swap teams with each other for the ultimate twist
I’ve seen so many of these videos and it’s insane how lucky Chillin gets with the RNG. I’ve never seen someone get so consistently lucky with that shit.
The battlefield depends on your trainer cards. As QuickGG (the "home player" in this case) has Hammerlocke City as a background on his card, you're battling in Hammerlocke Stadium. Greetings from Guadalajara, Mexico, guys!
Great video guys! Love these type of challenges, I had an idea pop up where maybe spinning a wheel and telling each other the starters based off a language the wheel lands on. It would be great incorporating different languages into these challenges.
When I saw Mandibuzz I practically shouted Grypheldis with nostalgia. I have a German Mandibuzz I got from GTS for a Braviary because version exclusives and Mandibuzz was one of my favorite gen 5 designs. I actually forget it's English name and default to the German name moderately often with it
@@alfredbyrd249 That's cool, but maybe it would be better to ask a german to pronounce it, so you can try to repeat it, since sometimes their pronouncing is way off 😂
Small tips from a german native speaker. A is usualy pronounced like the -ah in nah. U is usualy pronounced like the o in to. O is usualy pronounced like the o in Lord or the a in war. Ei is pronounced similar to I. The z in Miezunder is actualy a -ts sound. Sie is similar to the Z at the end of Dragon Ball Z. I is similar to the e in we.
I, a german pokefan, will explain why Swinub's german name is Quiekel. Quiek is the sound what little piglets make and kel is a syllable for Ferkel (piglet in german). And that is why Quiekel's name is Quiekel.
The German language Challenge was how I actually found you guys for the first time. It was in my recommendation. And I loved it. And I've stayed ever since them.
Since I saw no comment mentioning it; 'Miez Miez' is one of the German equivalents of calling a cat (kind of like pspsps) or just means cat in some reginal accents The second part comes from 'Zünder' which is the thing that you basically just start fires with/something that makes fire 'Gelatini' is just Gelatine (the stuff you put into gummies) and an 'i' for implying it's cuter/smaller
see this why I would LOVE to be in these calls and say the Pokemon names as a native German speaker quiekel for example is called that because the sound pigs make in German is "quiek" so that's how the quiek part gets in there without swinub being fast
love it guys, great episode. Ever though of doing best 2 of 3 of the same idea? I think it would be really fun to watch and would relieve some of the harshness of the one-sided episodes.
Quiekel is a mixture of quiek = to squeak, and Ferkel = baby pig. It squeaks/squeals because it's a tiny pig. Doesn't have anything to do with being quick
Hi quickgg, and chillnplay, how r ya guys doing? These videos are really entertaining and I actually love these vids, it really kills time for me in my vacation. Keep going guys, 250k is not far away. Good luck and thank you
Cause I read many comments who want, that you are allowed to evolve the pokemon you get: I personally prefer it like it is now. It is (in my opinion) a lot more fun, if you have to fight with the ones you get, than if you can make them stronger by evolving.
thank you quickgg and you as well chillin your pokemon battles with crazy rules your soul link and all of your other videos as well have always and will always be amazing thank you and keep it up
Qiekel: quiek is our word for the sound of pigs.
Ferkel is a baby pig and when you combine those you have a quiekel
Hätte es nicht besser erklären können. // Couldn't explain it in a better way.
👆
Thank you for this comment :)
PigGG?

I love these German challenges. As a German it’s always funny to hear how you pronounce the names:)
Ich reg' mich deswegen manchmal auf 😅 aber an sich ist es ziemlich lustig.

Ich stimme zu 100 Prozent zu :)
Ja ist echt funny
"Quiek quiek" is the German equivalent of "Oink oink" and "Ferkel" means "Piglet" , so it's basically called Oinklet.
yup
That’s an adorable name

The part where his character fistbumped the Pokemon's groin was perfection

Exactly! I love how fun they are. They have great chemistry and make great videos together! They’re some of my favorite TH-camrs :)
I agree with the above statement
Very well said, love these guys.. team chilln all the way tho
True I'm addicted to their vids, in the past 3 weeks, I almost watched all their past vids. Yeah they actually enjoy being content creators.
@@mooshie3273 Yeah being roommates and all, they do have good chemistry
I missed the foreign language randomized starter episodes. Glad to have them back.

Chillin always gets lucky on these Foreign challenges with the legends. QuickGG needs some luck too 😂
Chillin gets lucky on most challenges. Most of the time if he gets balanced matchup he loses without insane luck with flinches or status effects xD
Obstagoons sprite being Guy Fieri is hands down the best part of his custom form
i audibly gasped throughout chilln’s choices. his team is sooo stacked. i love to see the custom form of my baby giratina on his team
Lmfao the fist bump with haxor’s cod piece had me dying
Yes. I love different language pokemon challenge. This is really what got me into you guys. Both crack me up. Definitely bring these back.

"Quiekel" is named after the sounds a little pig makes.
You guys really gotta start fully evolving if there’s a baby or mid stage pokemon chosen. I think it will make it more fun and challenging
I agree. Maybe not for every challenge, but every once in a while would be nice to see
I would also love to see items.
Yeah, definitely.
nah disagree: if every mon is evolved the whole chosing process would be way less exciting
It could make the battle a little closer lol
I’ve seen so many of these videos and it’s insane how lucky Chillin gets with the RNG. I’ve never seen someone get so consistently lucky with that shit.
Can you guys full evolve your babies? Makes the fights so much more fun
The bouncing Guy Fieri icon where Obstagoon should be in the menu is hilarious!

Though chillin already have a lead in start but it still was a watch till video . These videos just entertain me a lot after my studies .!
Damn, you've been PUMPING out the videos in the last few days. Ya love to see it, folks!
These are so fun! I love seeing all the different custom forms/types! And a mashup of the German names too! Awesome!
The tiny Guy Fieri when Quick was swapping mons got me good. An elegant detail.
for the swinub / quikel thing: "Quick" is the noise that pigglets make in german
Quick must’ve upset some God out there bc bro was getting the worst luck imaginable on top of Chillin getting the most luck imaginable

"It's basically down to the Owei and the Schmerbe", except if he actually knew what all three were, the Abra is probably the best thing there.
How did y’all’s switch get a mouse pointer on the screen?! 😂😂 chilln, your luck is unmatched.
Yeeeeeeeees! I needed this today! 🙌 😍 amazing as always!

It's just too funny how they pronounce it as if these were english names instead of actually tryharding german
Quik is like the sound that these pigs do… That’s where the German name comes from. Btw I love your videos, keep on and greetings from Germany ✌🏼
9:33 German here. Quiekel is the combination of the words "quieken + Ferkel" - a sound they are making and the name for a baby pig.

Hello
Quiekel is from "Quiek" it's a sound Guineapigs make for example
And El is from Ferkel the Baby Pigs
Random colours (majority) 10 wheel spins 4 skips. And the twist one random steal each, pokemon numbered 1-6

Swinub is called Quiekel in German because "squeak" is "quiek" in German.

The freaking guy fieri Sprite I’m done 😂💀
Literally watch these all the time, favorite Pokémon content pls continue beautiful men
would be cool to do a video with completely german pokemon versions so you have to guess your moves and abilities as well
Quikel is probably called Quikel because of the sound a pig makes, for us germans, we believe (i dont know why) that pigs do "Quiek" XD
Your new editor is amazing
Dude the RNG is 10,000% in chillns favor here WOW
Me As german Liked this.
The fact that alot of the Pokémon where misspronounced makes me happy
Hello from Germany ! I love These Videos. Some of the best Content on Yt!
As a German person, let me say: your pronunciation was hilarious 🤣
As a member of the german gang "Quiekel" is due to it being a pig and the sounds that pigs do is "quiek". Therefore quiekel

Quick for your Information we Germans thinks that Pigs say Quik quik so the little Quickel comes from this noise :)
even for me as a german qiekel sounds funny its more named to the noise, like a sneezer. not like a fast big dog
at least chillin held back at the end :)
German is a fun language, especially in Pokemon where the Names are 50% of the time based on something.
the little guy fieri instead of obstagoons sprite in the team selection I’m crying
