Yes indeed. His musical career spanned over 8 decades - Wow! However, I do believe he would want us to be filled with joy when as we celebrate his life by listening to his music and admiring his contributons to our musical World. My wife, Mary was lucky enough to have met Tony Bennett and been able to chat to him briefly, during which time, he put down his pen, took off his glasses, looked into her eyes (he was signing autographs at a table at the time) and spoke very warmly to her. She was so happy! He seemed to be doing that with so many people that day, in Selfridges London store, that the signing of autographs took hours...
Wow, that says he was such a down to earth wholesome gentleman . It's nice when you come into contact with a well known person who acknowledges you as a person and not being snobbish person like alot of well know people are

The Great (and immortal) Tony Bennett turned 94 this past August 2020, and is such a treasure. We'll always have him with us due to these great recordings like the above, which is a gift to me right now, I may be alone in these "viral" times, but it doesn't feel like it with this great Christmas album of Tony's which is beating back the lonely blues very successfully for me! THANKS FOR POSTING IT!

I pray we will be seeing you again soon at The Fox Theater. This was the first year in several years we missed a performance. We were third row center in Grand Rapids in 2018 and 5th row center at the Fox in 2019 and before that we sat right in front of your beautiful wife. We love your shows. In all the footage of any concerts I've seen, you can really tell that he loves the fans and the fans love him. Even on that last televised special he did with Lady Gaga, the people at Radio City Music Hall just went crazy when he came out, and his face just lit up when he looked out at the audience. I think that's why he has lasted as long as he has, because he really loved entertaining people.

Was it Sinatra himself who called you the "greatest pop singer" of all time? Who would challenge Frank on that:) You have always been able to capture like no other singer the magical Christmas mix of emotions--exuberant joy and poignant sadness, Christmas present and our aching, nostalgic longing for Christmases past....
