Riding in a group was nerve wracking at first because all your instincts tell you to keep space & an escape route available...once you get to know the people you ride with you will trust them and then it becomes like ballet 😎
That's also good advice Donald. A good riding group is like synchronized swimmers or ballet dancers. Very coordinated and work together instead of individually.
you did great ! I haven't ridden in a large group in a long time , when you are younger your reactions are much better , then when you are older and get in a group of younger riders , it gets hairy , my theory is never ride faster then your Guarding Angel can fly
Riding in a group ride can be nerve wracking when you don't know anyone around you. If you are surrounded by friends it doesn't matter how many bikes are in the group, for me anyway. Loved the video, looked like 2 very fun rides!
I like group rides, big and small. Makes you more noticeable I think. My worst experience was with a roommate/very good buddy, we were in a small group his front caliper locked down on the disc up and over he and the motorcycle went, right beside me. It almost seemed like slow motion I couldn't reach out and help, what to do???!!! I still like riding with others vs. alone. I will ride alone just not my favorite. You did very good job on your group ride!! Be good and be safe!!
What’s good QueenSit. I’ve rode a lot by myself but love riding with my club. However, when I ride in a group of people I don’t know, I normally ride in the back so I can observe how everyone rides. Continue to be safe out there and keep those vids coming.
When in a group look way in front of where you are and always being looking in the mirrors... You done great... Thank you for sharing... Much love... Stay healthy and safe...
I always enjoy your vids. Showing your support for peaceful protest, but not making your content political. Showing the full experience of a group ride with the officer assisting in blocking the intersection. Another great video in the books. Much respect.
Hi Queen, love your vid's, I notice some of the riders had some formation riding experience, like riding ahead and putting road guards out, glad you had fun, keep the good stuff coming Underdoggie
I love the group rides. I do several a year for charity and I also put on one here in KY in remembrance of my Dad. He was a Vietnam Vet and I put it on to raise money for Vet's in need. Thank you for what you do.
Girl you're a natural. Handled that great. My first group ride I had guy that made us learn the signals for everything, how to ride in formation, and sign a waiver. He was a hardcore safety nut but it made me feel a little more comfortable knowing he insisted on safe riding from everyone. Now I ride a little more aggressive. LOL
Hey Queen, sounds like y'all had a blast on the group ride. Just my opinion but, I feel safer riding in a group on highways and busy streets since a group is more visible and louder than a solo rider. Yes it takes time to see how the group rides etc, but don't shy away from group trips. That's how you'll get better. Yeah, group rides are dope every now and again. You guys did it right with blocking traffic, etc. but when there's no blocking in the city, its a nightmare. 100 mc's becomes 5-10 in a matter of about 15 lights. lol. Now, group riding on a long highway, that's a whole nutha'thang. That's when its super dope!! Ride fun n' safe.
I enjoy watching you experience different things on the bike for the first time. You showed a couple ways that group can be unsafe, but you did your ride and it looked fun.
Group riding.....It's cool as long as everyone is on the same page. No showing off. Ride in some type of formation , not all over the place taking up the road or highway. I could go on about what would pass me off out on a group ride I'll end it here. Stay safe.
Nice ride there, try riding in a group at 90+ mph. Sounds crazy and nerve wrecking but it's what you do when you in a MC. Most important part is that your safe out there. ✌🏾&❤ Queen
Group riding can be fun if it is disciplined riding. Your first group ride was dangerous and I would have broken away. I ride with Nene Valley HOG in England. Our largest chapter ridd was during one of our rallies. There were over 370 bikes. My largest ride out ever was 2004 Brighton Burnout when the crew from OCC came to England and 52,000 bikes left the ACE Cafe and rode to Brighton Beach.
QueenSit you did a great job. Just watch your distant and keep yourself staggered from the person on your left or right. I am with a CVMA group here and we ride together like that. It's a lot of fun and sometimes safer in numbers especially if all the bikes have loud pipes. Other drivers will hear you coming. It's good comradery with the group. Totally understand when you want to ride alone. I do too sometimes to reflect on my thoughts in my helmet.
Everyone is usually well behaved and on their best when riding in a group. Nobody wants to scratch their own bike, and definitely don't want to scratch somebody else's bike.
I'm done riding wi group rides along time ago there are too many riders that don't pay attention and don't follow the rules of the road but that ride looked like a new nice ride with no mishaps.g bless

Beautiful thing yr doing for someone like that. Not a big fan of group rides, just looking at some of the people who were driving in the video now, that’s how accidents happen sometimes not all the time. But that’s me
Well Queen Sit girl ,if that was your first big group ride, you done awesome, and there's not a better feeling than riding with a bunch of other bikers, I've ridden in groups of 2 and 3 thousand bike's at a time, and it's the best feeling in the world, ride safe and keep the kneese in the breeze girl 👍🏼💯
We have a group of 4 that ride together a lot. All sharks and we ride tight… 2 lengths behind, one length beside. Nothing looks or feels better then going into a turn at 80 and you all lean in and out together.
It all comes down to the people in the group. I've had group rides where I just turned off and left cause some other riders were being stupid and dangerous. It helps a lot if the person leading the pack goes nice and slow so it isn't a constant slingshot of everyone behind having to hammer on it to try and keep/catch up.

I love some group riding. Our little pack of of friends, 6 women, we ride together as much as possible. At the risk of sounding conceited, we look amazing when we ride together, there is a reason for that though. You mentioned that when you ride in a group it is good to know how other riders ride and having trust in those people, my wife and I ride together all the time, one of the girls in the group we have ridden probably 20,000 miles together in 2 and half years, the others still around 10,000 or more so we have an established trust and I know exactly how each one is going to ride and take corners or even react to emergency situations. Riding alone can be fun but when all of us ride together it is a beautiful feeling. We played on words and gave our group friendship a name “The Rack Pack”, matching license plates and everything. If you’re ever around the KC area stop by Gail’s Harley Davidson, they all know is there, Gail is even a member of our little pack. If you’re in the area holler and we would love to meet you and we could take you for a ride.
Hi Queen Sit! Love your videos such an inspiration! Just purchased my First Harley today a V-Rod! If you happen to come through NC would love to meet you! Safe travels!
Did my 1st group ride with a local HOG Chapter here in Texas and it was amazing! It was BADASS! And extremely organized However! I did learned a few great take aways from the 180 mile ride through the Texas Hill Country.... If a group ride doesn't have a "Group Ride Host" a person with a clipboard assigning road captains, sweeps and super sweeps for the ride? Don't Ride! Well organized group rides don't ride in large groups. They break the bikers down into smaller groups containing five to six bikes and each group will have a trained ride captain and a sweep. And at the end of those groups will be a rider called the "super sweep". This experienced rider watches out for the groups as a hole and make sure no biker is Left behind. HOG chapters never ride in large groups unless it's police escorted. It was absolutely badass! They stagger each individual group leaving out and it was a site to behold. As a first time group rider I felt safe and was able to learn how to ride in a group using all the hand signals.... The hand signals was a must! You better know the hand signals..... especially if you group ride here in Texas🤣
It’s a beautiful thing to be there for someone went through brain surgery I’ve been there you guys have a blessed safe ride and I have a street glide CVO 18 just want to shout out that you from Knoxville Tennessee
When the video started I saw those ladies in front of you walking there bikes to turn out that was shakey to me I usually ride with a set group but if I'm with new riders I hang back to watch them. Just stay safe and observe everything around you.
I've been some big packs but I agree if you dont trust and know how the riders around you are going to react is pretty nerve wracking. Yet when you are surrounded by those you believe in the experience is like nothing else. My worst was a night ride through the upper peninsula of Michigan back to Illinois a two lane pack just rolling through the woods beautiful night. DEER suck... came out went right over the first lane landed on the tank of a bike on the inside 6 guys went down n the brother never saw it coming and never made it home. So be careful, be safe, keep the love alive and keep rolling sister

You did a good job 👍 To bad a lot of folks don't ride, to feel that freedom that you and I and others do. I have been a lone wolf most of my riding life... Not that I don't like others. No I may want to stop and look at something and wouldn't want to impose on others... All our life's it seems like we are always worried about (Time) . Always have to be on time. Time Time Time... When I ride time stops... Thanks for the video. Ride hard, ride lots and ride safe. Billy.
In a group you want to be the first 5 or last five never the meat in the middle but Trail of Tears was 100,000 plus back a few years ago I will say the leg from Waterloo AL. To Oklahoma was the best leg of the Ride find you a nice pocket in a big group an enjoy the Ride
Love the shirt !! I do a couple group rides a year, just watch all around you etc. and the heat can be hard on your bike if the group jams up in town/city . I have seen some major whip outs !! people getting slam from behind mostly !! You did great !!
ive done tons of group rides a few with 200+ bikes participating love meeting all the new ppl that have similar interests and love to ride as much as i do but u really do need to be alert personally ive lead runs and have ridden in the middle and the end of the groups ive learned best spot to be in my opinion is the back less ppl to worry about with no one behind u and gives u more time to slow down with out worrying about getting hit from behind u get to relax a little more and enjoy the ride and when taking more winding roads u get to see the entire line of bikes in front of u which is pretty cool the front ur always seem to be going fast u dont get that nice cruise feeling and the middle u have so much extra to focus on with all the riders u may not know ive seen ppl lock up there breaks following too close or ridding too fast the worst was one guy came with his buddies all on some rat rod choppers and while he was ridding his handle bars fell off he grabbed hold of his forks to steer and his back tire eventually locked up being he couldnt downshift and he wiped out in a grassy ditch luckily he walked away with out a scratch even tho he was going like 65mph and no helmet was pretty crazy
I've ridden alone and with large groups. I definitely prefer large groups. Especially on long state to state rides. The hardest part is the constant sudden stops and having somebody new riding in the group that doesn't understand the concept of maintaining your lane in the lane. You're either on the left or the right inside the lane. You can't ride both.
Omg love this I’m a new rider, so this is so amazing, so glad I found this love watching woman riders, myself a 4 other girls that out my friends are new and a couple other that been doing it for yrs.
In the eighties I rode as a hang around with a club called Southern Riders in Portsmouth Va., and everywhere they went they rode 100mph, 100 bikes side by side, was scary as shit, also thrilling as hell! Ha! Love your stuff, will keep peepin you out.
I second that motion. 😁. But sometimes a special event will have large groups. Like Rolling Thunder used to do. So it's good to be flexible and willing to adjust to the situation.
Hi I have been on fantastic charity runs and a couple really bad. Here's one bad. Everyone started out with a Bloody Mary and from there, five minutes to the next bar. Two stops later and now the pipes where really loud and speeds past 90 mph. We finally got to the last bar. This guy decides to due a huge burnout on is new CVO Road Glide. After the smoke cleared, he notices a cop running out of the convenience store across the street. He rips out, leaving his wife behind. I think he got enough of a head start to loose the cop. Let's say my day was done and left before the calvary was called. A bunch of drunk bikers and I'm glad no one got killed. From that day, I'm very careful of what charity ride I'm going on.
Riding in a group is fun but a lot head movement just have to be aware of other riders. You did pretty good from what I seen. Be safe beautiful hope to see you out one day enjoy ✌🏾
@@QueenSit that's amazing. You killed it for your first group ride! Wish I could have been apart/witnessed that epic moment. Keep the content coming. Ride on Queen!
Just subscribed! Love your videos. I ride a 2019 Chieftain and it gets hot like a Harley Davidson, and the reason why I avoid large group rides. However, on the Chieftain, you can deactivate the rear cylinder to reduce heat, and it works pretty good.

Hate it. It's often like an accordion or slinky. People don't know how to maintain speed. I think once you get past 10 bikes, the nuttier it becomes.
James L that’s a good point
I may ride with large groups (not often) if it is for a great cause. But I prefer riding by myself or with a very small group.
Just noticed your glossy helmet!
It looks great and was my option on your polls against matte finish. 😉

No I may want to stop and look at something and wouldn't want to impose on others... All our life's it seems like we are always worried about (Time) . Always have to be on time. Time Time Time... When I ride time stops... Thanks for the video. Ride hard, ride lots and ride safe.
Billy.
Thanks for watching! ☺️☺️🏍💨
In a group you want to be the first 5 or last five never the meat in the middle but Trail of Tears was 100,000 plus back a few years ago I will say the leg from Waterloo AL. To Oklahoma was the best leg of the Ride find you a nice pocket in a big group an enjoy the Ride
Nice! Thanks for the advice! ☺️🏍💨
Love the shirt !! I do a couple group rides a year, just watch all around you etc. and the heat can be hard on your bike if the group jams up in town/city . I have seen some major whip outs !! people getting slam from behind mostly !! You did great !!
Thank you so much! Yeah that’s what scares me lol
ive done tons of group rides a few with 200+ bikes participating love meeting all the new ppl that have similar interests and love to ride as much as i do but u really do need to be alert personally ive lead runs and have ridden in the middle and the end of the groups ive learned best spot to be in my opinion is the back less ppl to worry about with no one behind u and gives u more time to slow down with out worrying about getting hit from behind u get to relax a little more and enjoy the ride and when taking more winding roads u get to see the entire line of bikes in front of u which is pretty cool the front ur always seem to be going fast u dont get that nice cruise feeling and the middle u have so much extra to focus on with all the riders u may not know ive seen ppl lock up there breaks following too close or ridding too fast the worst was one guy came with his buddies all on some rat rod choppers and while he was ridding his handle bars fell off he grabbed hold of his forks to steer and his back tire eventually locked up being he couldnt downshift and he wiped out in a grassy ditch luckily he walked away with out a scratch even tho he was going like 65mph and no helmet was pretty crazy
Good job there is nothing like riding with a group of other bikers did good
Thank you!
Cool video..keep them coming ✌️
Thank you! I will for sure! ☺️🙌🏾🏍💨
@@QueenSit sweet 👍
I've ridden alone and with large groups. I definitely prefer large groups. Especially on long state to state rides. The hardest part is the constant sudden stops and having somebody new riding in the group that doesn't understand the concept of maintaining your lane in the lane. You're either on the left or the right inside the lane. You can't ride both.
Thanks! ☺️🏍💨
I like a group ride!!! I feel safer. But pretty new to riding so might be why!! But love to see all the lady riders!!!!
Loving all your videos, so inspiring!

In the eighties I rode as a hang around with a club called Southern Riders in Portsmouth Va., and everywhere they went they rode 100mph, 100 bikes side by side, was scary as shit, also thrilling as hell! Ha! Love your stuff, will keep peepin you out.
I have a road king at the moment. I’m gonna get that paid for quick The road glide looks nice I want one now

Looking to find out where you purchased your passenger seat rest from.
I found it on eBay
Very beautiful. Great content. Keep putting out banger videos
I don't like large group rides either max 4 riders for me
That’s how I feel too lol
I second that motion. 😁. But sometimes a special event will have large groups. Like Rolling Thunder used to do. So it's good to be flexible and willing to adjust to the situation.
Thank you for sharing with us.
Thanks for watching! ☺️🙌🏾🏍💨
Oh yeah that’s not a good time at all. 😳 glad you made it out ok
yeah it is safer to ride by yourself- group rides worry me but hope to see u Saturday in Knoxville
Riding in a group is fun but a lot head movement just have to be aware of other riders. You did pretty good from what I seen. Be safe beautiful hope to see you out one day enjoy ✌🏾
Super dope ride footage! How many people do you think was in the convoy??
lunchbox16 thanks so much! I think there were about 100 bikes. But I def didn’t count
@@QueenSit that's amazing. You killed it for your first group ride! Wish I could have been apart/witnessed that epic moment. Keep the content coming. Ride on Queen!
Group ride can be good as long everyone riding smart . If you don't feel comfortable with what seeing just pull out of the ride. 👍
My Beloved Sister, you will get use to it. I am proud of you. All though I'm not with you please know you're loved above all. Your Brother Reginald.
Hey brother ☺️🏍💨 thank you so much!
Just subscribed! Love your videos. I ride a 2019 Chieftain and it gets hot like a Harley Davidson, and the reason why I avoid large group rides. However, on the Chieftain, you can deactivate the rear cylinder to reduce heat, and it works pretty good.
