pm is pretty easy to deal with tbh, but you can get your building to auto expand if you really want, also that is the main focus of the game (economy)

vic3 is about the economy, this playstyle is more alike to eu4 than vic3, the point of the game is very much economy, advancement and changes in global geopolitics internally

You made a joke about having a higher percentage of minorities than the titular people of a country, but this was actually the case for the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20th century. Russian people made up around 40% of the population of the Russian Empire, Lenin famously critiqued the empire as 'the prison of nations'
and still Russia was a really mild empire for secondary nations, with a lot of natives reaching highest military ranks and becoming nobility. Imagine UK or France had that.
I would love for a Ludi Portugal run. I just can't make it work. I am not too fluent on the culture aspect. It feels like whatever is built in Africa just doesn't get any workers because of discrimination. And you run out of people and infrastructure in mainland Portugal itself really quickly.

The AI hates backing down to 2 demands, so it is much less likely, and unlike conquer state it won’t incur extra infamy.

Great videos, been playing and learning the game using primarily your videos, did a super Germany run the other day, lotsa fun, following your video. Do you run any performance mods? Your game is very smooth, mine starts to drag by around 1870.
i don't use any mods when recording but I have a community mod we use for MPs that improves performances massively. Look up on workshop ludi and you'll find it

One area that I like grabbing is East & West Mali, for both the Opium Fields & the Monument
The monument has only been local since month 3 ish of vic3. It’s doesn’t apply nationally and is therefore not worth it/nothing special unless you’re local to the are and make it your capital. But even then not very worth it.

Any suggestion on how to get multi-culturalism? I was able to get to the very previous law around 60's as the Ottomans, but then went until 1936 without getting it nor finding anyone who would support it, and even with both intelligentsia and communists in charge it would still come up locked :/
I haven't played in a bit but from memory only a couple of ideologies have it (Anarchist, Humanist(?), might be forgetting one)
You have to research certain techs in the social tree so either of those ideologies can generate. Anarchists are earlier on the tech tree and spawn earlier in game so that is usually the easier/earlier route.
Anarchist agitators aren't too uncommon so inviting one of them is the most certain way to get one as an IG leader.
But you can only invite agitators from accepted cultures, which means that its much harder for Ottomans for example to get one. Most of the anarchist agitators will be Euro culture group, who Ottomans can only invite if they already have Multiculturalism to begin with
