She is amazing, right? I found an artist on TikTok and he would tell me what he used in the blobs. I’ve found recipes for these thick blobs and have to try and waste paint continuously until I get the results I want. It’s a hobby for me I’m not a full time artist and I’m not his competitor. Most artists share those that don’t are the exception. I love 💕 the art community it is helping me with chronic health issues. Happy creating.

Hi Saskia, I have prepared an msg board with gesso then painting in acrylic black for my ( as an experiment) blobs. Let it drip, had mixed my paints to the consistency, then applied. I had torched also to remove any air bubbles but I think I fried ( what looked like eggs) ..maybe too much torching because now some seem to have cracked. ...because the white blobs are only the first layer, am I able to hide the cracks with second contrasting colour blob? I will try and post a pic to show you...hmmm, not very good at this stuff and all my kids live far away so can’t show me ! Hahaha
Hi Netta, Yes I asume you are going to do 4 ore more layers? With the third they should be gone (Show me a pic on messenger?) and when it is still in the third layer maybe thin your paint a little bit more.

Yes, it appears heavy to me too or at least medium. I'm wondering if a lesser body could be used without the thinner since it is already thinner than this one. Hmmm Perhaps a glue all will thicken it a bit. I'm gonna try that.
Hi Saskia! I al from Spain and its very dificult to me understand the english and to find the products that you use. I wanted to know what kind of paint you use? and what kind of products are the other two thinks? I used acrylic paint and I mixed whith "purin", but when is dry the blob are broken.
@@ParasProgramming123 it’s all about consistency and you don’t want cracks. Mix up a little paint how you want it and try one blob on a practice canvas first, so you know if it will dry okay. Good luck🙂

So we should not use water for blob painting mix right? Or is it ok if this consistency is achieved just by adding water or glue i wonder. Anyways i will experiment and study.

You said you can use any paint to start, but I assume you are starting with a heavy body paint? If I started with a fluid paint, made for pouring, that would be too thin, is that correct?
Barbara Poland-Waters if you would have fluid paint (I never used that myself) I would thicken it up with heavy gloss gel medium. But the way I showed can be done with normal and with heavy body paint. With normal I mean for example liquitex basics.

Excuse me, at the beginning you said that this varnish has the same substance as Floetrol? Is it only this exact varnish or any varnish at all? Cause in the country in which I live now the Floetrol is not on sale, so it quite difficult to make an acrylic pouring which is my hobby now. So maybe I can replace the Floetrol with some varnish which is much easier to buy here?
Hello, I don't know, you have to find out, some varnish is as thin as water but my Matte varnish is a ltttle bit thicker. I think all varnish will work, only the mixing ratio will be different :)
Juliette Masson the varnish I use is a matte varnish with the same rusult as floetrol. That is why I need to seal wih a gloss varnish if I want it to be shiny.
I like it. FYI: Please after squeezing several dots check on tightening the lid. Precoution so that you don't find yourself having one HUGE DOT. Just saying from experience. Keep up the great teaching and Beautiful peaches.. Thanks

I just like that better than water, water is more likely causing the paint to crack.

I use a matte varnish and acrylic thinner you can buy in a toolshop.
My paints are acrylic paint.

I followed your method and I found the paint dried with speckled like burst air bubbles in it ... I did use heat to remove bubbles

How do you get an even coat of varnish on such a textured painting?
It will take a couple of layers, I will just pour it on the painting...
You can also buy spray varnish :)
When you mix in bottles, do you shake to mix? Do you get bubbles?
I mix in the cup and then store in bottles. Leave it for a couple of days and then there are no airbubbles :)

It is as liquid as water and it is Acrylic thinner, specially for thinning and improving acrylics. You can buy it in a hardware store .
