- Garbed in a tan Nomex flight suit and military boots at Istres-Le Tubé Air Base, the main facility used by Dassault for flight test, BCA senior editor Fred George belted into the left seat of Falcon 8X No. 1. Accompanied by Eric Gerard, chief test pilot for the program, in the right seat and Frederic Lascourreges, Dassault Aviation’s chief test pilot, on the jump seat as safety pilot.

Test Pilot Eric Gerard used to perform some of the finest Rafale demos (you can find them easily on TH-cam) and you can see that he's enjoying the negative G manoeuvre.
Yeah, Dassault Aviation making very good and sexy airplanes like Falcon 8x and Rafale fighter jet, looks absolutely fabulous.
Dassault should seriously enter the commercial aviation market.

From a pilots perspective and the cockpit working environment have does it rate compared with the G650 its rival it is going head to head with, not to mention Bombardier's similar offering?

Depends on complex configurations- weight, runway surface, weather conditions, wind, etc.
I get that, but was just wondering if there were any general numbers that they use...
is it just me or do the other two pilots look a bit nervous?
Ronnyboy They look nervous because the know their aircraft, it is good but they know thinks can go wrong not for outside world it is a dassault

Yes, thats one thing I don't like in aviation. The USA are one of very few countrys that uses it, but because they were very present in the beginning of aviation, now the whole aviation has to use it.
