@@harshitjain2463 Most of the helmet manufacturers know this fact and you should too, that is, in a motorcycle crash 18% of the total damage is inflicted upon the both the left and the right cheek area.
Nearly 8% damage is recieved by the visor, and other parts recieve the rest of the damage force. The area which recieves the lowest damage is the top of the helmet. A biker doesn't always fall right on top of his head and if that happens no matter how much protection he has with his helmet, there'll be a chance he breaks his neck. So chances are the helmet manufacturers make the right and left cheek area more beefy and bulky and layered than the top of the helmet.
So to answer your question, how can he check if a helmet is safe. He must throw a helmet on one of its side multiple times. He should try hitting the visor multiple times. He must see if the back of the helmet is still sturdy after all this is done.

I really liked axxis segment helmet, but the problem is that I am unable to find s size of this model in my area and even in online. That's why went for mt hammer helmet. But otherwise I really liked axxis segment helmet, padding shell and overall everything.

Eya to medium/ small size k helmet hai mera head may fit nehi hoga…..Abhi to 3000/- se suru hokar 15000/- tak jitney bhi helmets ati hai usmay sab may outer shell poly carbonate hi use hota hai….leken phirbi mujhe lagta hai size matter karta hai….size jitni choti hogi uski outer shell andar se utni hi “thos” hogi, bo helmet utni hi achhi tarike se Impact le payegi….isliye is bar agar ap ne helmets hemar test karo to koyee band ap lo liken sabhi ka ek size k hi shell lena….kisi ka chota eya bara nehi….tab asli picture samaj may ayegi..

Although, ISI certification has nothing to do with safety. To sell products in India, things need to be ISI certified. DOT and ECE certifications are for safety standards 😊
ISI certification is for safety and quality of product, that's why two wheeler helmets come under mandatory certification.
