When you 'speckle' paint onto the leaves and you have flecks of paint on the base - have you ever thought of actually using that base as well for something else? I just hope this makes sense of what I actually mean!!!
hi Vilma - you could! I just used scrap paper and did a few of those so it became quite messy - but potentially you could if I understand you correctly. if you mean the flicked on shimmer ink, yes you could also get a nice sihouette

Hi Jen, I love this technique, the results look really pretty. I'll definitely use the colouring technique, but as most of my cards are either posted or packaged in cello bags to give away, I worry that the leaves will get squashed flat again anyway. Any thoughts?
they might - you could add a slip of foam in front and sometimes I manage to protect cards by keeping the air trapped in a cellophane bag when I seal it before putting in the envelope.

They look great,Altenew things are very pretty,but sooo far out of my price range,will use this idea with cheaper dies.Tyfs

it might be an in person card - or you could avoid folding the score lines
