Something interesting to note is that Thai translators have pointed out that while Woody says "kon rak" which is a more general term for "couple" Zee replies "koo rak" which is only used to mean romantic couple. Also, when Zee says what they translated as "I care only about you" translators have pointed out that a more accurate translation is "I surrender only to you".
I found somebody on Reddit who commented about this video. She said that Woody came out in 2016 and it’s a very supportive of all LGBTQ issues. This user did not believe that Woody would participate in anything that was just fan service. This Reddit user did not believe that he would disrespect the community that way, and therefore believes in this interview and takes it at face value.
Something to Note. They released this video when our boys were in Japan for a week. It feels very deliberate that they would release it when they were away from Thailand considering the amount of media that would have been asking them questions about it constantly
I've always liked Woody, he's a great interviewer and a lot of fun, I follow him and his husband on insta. Woody has interviewed lots of BL couples in the past and he's always fun and flirty and can play up his own gayness for the fan service of it all, but this interview was totally different and showed so much thoughtfulness and respect. I really loved it. Of course, their personal relationship is none of my business, so I'm happy to accept whatever they say at face value. They are both still young, Nunew especially, and building their careers, but homophobia is alive and well. So from someone who is also not "out" at work, nor do I live in Thailand, I will always respect their personal decisions, regardless of how they may identify.
Personally, I don't think it matters whether or not the international fans believe they're dating and I don't think it matters if they want to define their relationship as dating. They definitely seem to have a more intimate relationship than I've seen with others. I saw recently that Zee dropped $9,000 on a White Gold, Diamond Ring for Nunew this year. This type of relationship is far beyond friends or siblings, I'm just happy we get to witness these cute, loving moments.
I hope they are together and happy but I am not going to fully believe anything until we get them specifically saying/showing it in a way that couldn't be taken as fan service. soooooo many people think that BL couples are together because they call each other boyfriends and say they love each other but they only mean it in a fan service way. I understand that people were talking about the translations being a little off but even with those corrections, they could still be using those terms as a fan service. we dont know because we arent in their relationship. i just think its a little dangerous to believe they are a couple just based off of that. they definitely care for each other and are smitten but i dont want to think any deeper than that until it is 100% confirmed with zero doubt. :) and i am fine if they never do that as well. its up to them and what they feel is best. in the meantime i will enjoy their relationship for what i can see and love the fact that they are close and love/care for each other deeply.
They already told it a LOT of times since this interview that was 1 year ago and they are actually sick of people doesn't believe them and always ask them if it's true and US, fans, we are tired too of people don't trust their words and disrespect their relation. And also it's a total disrespect for Woody to say he participate to fanservice since he NEVER do that and he is part of lgbt community so in Woody we trust.
Not to be rude, but no one really cares if you want to believe it or not. As someone else said in another comment, all that matters is that zeenunew define their relationship as lovers. If you don’t want to believe it, that’s your own choice. They aren’t obligated to validate their status to you or any other fan just because you think their relationship is fanservice. ❤
I know you didn’t mean this in a harmful way based on your wording, but it’s still a harmful mindset to push onto them. Thailand is a conservative country even though it doesn’t appear that way, and gay marriage and lgbt people still aren’t very accepted if you look closely.
@@cakebeforeheartbreak did you see the last 45 minutes of their concert when they reenact meeting each other, falling in love, and wanting to be together for a lifetime? 🥹

I would genuinely love your reaction to red, white and royal blue!

I agree 😊
Did he really spend 9k on a ring for NuNew 👀👀👀?!?! If so that’s….just….wow…
@@kerbystar yes he gave it to him on his birthday this year. It’s a very gorgeous ring
NuNew also bought Zee a Ring for his birthday as well. We don’t know what it looks like yet but that screams COMMITMENT to me. 🥹

I’m sorry but this mindset is so harmful to the lgbt+ community. If you don’t believe them then please keep it to yourself and let them be. 😊
