Thank you Lauren! Pronunciation is the perfect way to start your French learning! Check out this playlist, Pronunciation 101, it has only 4 videos! One video is about vowel, explaining how they are pronounced in the French alphabet and in French words, and it includes all the letter combinations. Then, a second video in which you'll learn everything about consonants. On the third video, you'll learn everything about silent letters in French, what letters you shouldn't pronounce. The last video is about liaisons, how the French link the words together: th-cam.com/video/3XvvDjl1AQU/w-d-xo.html
Actually, French pronunciation is easier than English pronunciation. Difficulty level of French is kinda overated. Especially conjugation is extremely easy when it comes to compare French with any other European languages. But of course these are my experiences with that language.
As a native speaker, I can't really say... As far as conjugation and grammar are concerned, I remember that when I started learning Russian, I thought it was much easier in French. Knowing French conjugation helped me to learn conjugation in Portuguese and Spanish. Conjugation works exactly the same way, you just have to learn the verb groups and endings. I also agree with you that English pronunciation is difficult, and that the spelling is not straightforward either: there are many silent letters, and vowel combinations can have different pronunciations...

Probably the hardest language to read on, or at least hardest European language
It is, but once you understand these rules it helps, don't you think? :)
@@LearnFrenchwithLexie of course! Plus you need to practice the language in order to become fluent
Exactly! :)))
